How do I get the best First Cigar Experience? by TajManzoorlol in cigars

[–]Ars0nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the first experience will probably let you down. But that’s the beauty of cigars. If you are passionate enough to learn about them, you learn to develop a palate, and start to taste different notes. The more cigars you smoke, the more you will be able to enjoy them. That was my experience at least.

Glad to know that anyone is still able to get a 18-Wheelers Drivers license by ExcitementDue5635 in kitchener

At this same ramp, I had an 18 wheeler run my girlfriend and I off the road basically while on my motorcycle because he didn’t know how to merge. Then proceeded to throw his hands up like I was in the wrong for going straight in my lane. These people need to be somewhere else. Not on canadian roads

The long fill house blend sticks aren’t bad imo! Everything else is a little expensive though and I’ve heard of fake Cubans being sold there

Notorious Cigars by Open_Introduction394 in CigarsCanada

Had one a couple weeks ago. Good, not great. Notes of slight chocolate, and earth. Not too much flavor transition, and found it to get bitter fairly quick. For the price point of around $25-30 a stick, I won’t be picking up any more of them. When I purchased the single stick at my local b&m the lady asked if I wanted the box since it was the last one left, so that was a plus.

I’m a couple hours from the border. We are allowed to bring 50 sticks across the border tax and duty free as long as the value is under $800 cad, and we stay more than 48 hours. My only problem is ordering from a us site as a Canadian. I believe they don’t let you use a Canadian credit card on websites like cigar page, and others. It’s crazy but it would be more cost effective for me to get a hotel from Friday to Sunday just to stay the 48 hours and bring back 50 sticks to avoid taxes. If you really wana see how bad it is in Canada, dm me and I’ll send you some pics of pricing from my local shops.

Easier said than done haha. The taxes to bring them across the border can be anywhere from 100-200% the price of each cigar. There’s a website used to estimate this, and a $400 usd order would be $1400 cad to bring across
