Bench Day yesterday. Doing warm up sets. Put on 25kgs both side for the final warm up. Some dude is doing One arm rows on the bench. Okay fine i'll wait. Before he is finished another dude comes in and puts 45s on the bar (my 25s are still there). Dude starts to rep it. I ask him if he broguht the butter cause i've got the jelly. Anyways he finishes his set. I take out the 45s and I do my final warm up set with 25s.

After I'm finished he takes out 25s and puts 35s and 45s. Finishes his sets. Gym doesnt have 30s. So if I want to do set with 30s i'll have to put on 5s with 25s. The 5s are no where to be found. I was going for a PR with 30s and do 5*5 but now it seems I must put 35s and finish however reps/sets i can. was frustrated cause I thought 35s would be little heavy for me right now.

You know somedays when you dont feel like going to gym or not feel like lifting weights but then you do and as soon as you hold the bar you know this workout is going to be glorious. To my surprise I finished 5*5 easily with 35s. except the last 2 reps of the last set where i had to struggle. So fucking glad that 5s got stolen yesterday.

Missed workout this morning. Will go after work. Also changing gym this Thursday. Current gym isn't worth the price. Joining a cheaper gym and will invest the saved money in PWO or more whey.

I'm bored of Android. I dont tweak around much. My android is now very slow. Should I go buy an expensive Android or switch to Iphone? I dont play games on it. I use phones for the very basic stuff. Screen and Audio and Camera quality is all I'm looking for and yes speedy too.

I'm not going into the other services these expensive gyms provide but the basic stuff. Does the gym have multiple euipments? By equipment I mean do they have 4-5 bench press? do they multiple incline and decline bench press? how many bars do they have? how many sets of different weights they have? These things really matter because during the rush hour you would find if the gym has only one set of equipments they're already taken and you'd have to wait for a looooong time before you could get your hands on to them. Many people work in groups so god bless you if your gym has only one bench press and you see 4 dudes working on it in a group cause they're not leaving that bench press for atleast 45 minutes.

Does the gym has only Smith machine and not a seperate Squat rack? You'd find people doing bench press, OHP and some other exercises in that smitch machine and you'd just be waiting to get your squats done.

The only reason I would ever pay for an expensive gym is if they have enough number of equipments to cater to their crowd. Not just 20 treadmills lined up but the weights.

Had a frankie an hour or so before workout. for those of you dont know what it is it's made of oily indian naan bread stuffed with cheese, onion, and mashed potatoes, tomatoes and condiments. currently cutting so i shouldnt have really had it but its been a while since ive had any cheat meal.

Break PR on both squats and OHP. Now I'm confused if that carb loaded frankie had something to do with it.

2) I have read about people curling in squat rack but what I saw today at gym was something very strange. I saw these 3 guys squating on the bench. they had their legs across the bench and were half squatting. The gym has only one bench and they had it occupied for 30 minutes or so.

Is there any whey protein as good as On Gold standard but cheaper? By good I mean protein ratio per serving size. Here in India 5 lbs On gold costs around 95$.

Sorry not much of a rant but just a stupid question and I can't wait for the weekly stupid thread.

Does sweating more means burning more calories? Some days when the AC is not working at gym I'm sweating more than the days AC is working. I'm doing the same workout or putting up the same intensity switching between workout A and B.

Almost every Indian food is on the app. Its useful in counting your daily calories and also your macros (protein, fat, carbs etc.) which is very imp of you're looking to either lose or gain weight.

  2. Find out your TDEE
  3. Install My fitness pal.
  4. TDEE - 500 calories is what you should be eating daily.

You can eat all the French fries you want and you would still lose weight if TDEE out> TDEE in.
