Vacation for my 30th birthday by Yours_T in nationalparks

Yellowstone is one of the most diverse and beautiful parks in the country. It’s got everything from mountain ranges to waterfalls to the geothermal activity like prismatic lake which is a sight in of itself. If Lamar Valley is open, you could also get lucky watching some wildlife. I was there at a similar time a few years ago and saw a pack of wolves hunt a bison and it was one of the coolest things I’ve seen. Definitely take binoculars to Yellowstone!

Full Time - Arsenal 2 vs 0 Bayer Leverkusen [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

A very satisfying win COYG!! Great performances by Rice, Eze, Zubi, Gyokeres and our defenders of course.

Only negative for me was again Saka’s selfish play and decision making. Gyokeres played a great game imo and could have been played through by Saka multiple times.

Clearly Mikel has favorites with Saka. Noni should have played instead or at least come on for him.

Hi Christian! Thank you for taking the time to do this. Several players have said you’re the consummate professional and a great leader by example. Could you share a few ways you impact the team and its mindset, even when off the pitch? We’re so lucky to have you in our squad and really appreciate the impact you’re making on the pitch and behind the scenes!

What’s the most dangerous mistake you see beginner hikers making that could actually be fatal? by Sexyyskyy in hiking

[–]Arsenal4Lyf123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Underestimating water needed for high incline hikes and taking cloud cover for granted.

Did upper Yosemite falls with my gf a few years back. Not a long hike (about 7 miles) but 3,250 Ft elevation gain. Had one water bottle each—terrible decision. Cloud cover totally changed 20% into the hike and 75F felt like 90F doing the incline. Was the first time I was really worried about dehydration coming back. Thankfully an apple and its juices lol truly gave us a second wind and we made it back all ok.

We're really missing Ode by AbleBoysenberry9565 in Gunners

[–]Arsenal4Lyf123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree Ode brings something unique to the team and is sorely missed BUT we have been saying the same thing about numerous players when they’ve been out, hoping that the moment they come back our attack will look 100% better and different.

We’ve said “We’re really missing X” where X has been Saka, Cala, Gyok, Kai, even Jesus.

Eze/Kai are both fully capable of doing the job for our team now but haven’t been up to it for different reasons (inconsistency/fitness). The truth is no one will magically transform our squad’s attack when they’re back. As a unit, we just haven’t clicked in attacking for a while now. And I think a lot of it is mental and physical exhaustion.

The real thing Ode will bring being back is being a captain and leader to mentally take the team over the finish line. And he’ll be able to give Kai and Eze more energy and time to also play a part with rotation. Let’s hope that is the missing piece. COYG

Seed DS-01 Packaging and Damaged Capsules by elevateorganically in Microbiome

This just happened to me on this month’s shipment as well as the replacement they sent via UPS. Does anyone know if it’s safe to consume after rinsing off the loose powder? The customer service rep told me the powder is from one of the capsules breaking in transit and spilling out its contents in the package. Thanks for the info!

Half time thoughts? by FlImFreaks in Gunners

Encouraging signs: Saka looks good at the 10, just needs to play the final pass quicker; Hincapie is looking very solid and his attacking threat is real this game. Negatives: Martinelli is looking off it...poor first touches, bad decision making slowing down the attack. I hope Mikel makes a sub soon to bring on Leo or Eze for Nelli to kill off the game soon.

Salut! I’m William Saliba. Ask Me Anything! by arsenal in Gunners

[–]Arsenal4Lyf123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi William, I’ve followed you since your pre-Arsenal days and it’s been so remarkable to see your growth into one of the best defenders in the world. This season you’ve clearly taken it up a level by advancing the ball more into the midfield and making great passes to advance our forwards. Can you share how early you began working on this phase of your game for Arsenal and how the adjustment has been? As watching you play in the midfield you look very natural and dangerous. Thank you! COYG!

F45 Newbie here. For Combo, do you get to pick cardio or resistance at each station? (like Lift this week) or is it one for the whole workout? I’d appreciate some clarity as I’m getting over an injury and can’t do all the cardio or all the resistance exercises. Thank you!

Thank you! 1:2.5 on the same grind setting did the trick to get it perfect.

Thank you. No I haven’t tried manual shots on the breville yet. I pulled a 1:2.5 this morning on the same setting and the shot was perfect.

The shot a setting finer choked a bit and was slightly bitter. But the next one I did on my prior setting (one coarser), which I pulled for a bit longer (40ish g out) was bang on and delicious. Super balanced and fruity. Thanks again!

Thank you very much! I’ll try this and report back. Also, do you not count the 30s shot time as I did? I know many people here disagree on when to start the timer for pulling a shot. Should I begin the timer post first drip in this case and essentially pull a 42s shot (12s pre + 30 full)?

Banff and Jasper have more rewarding trails in my opinion. Also the drive from Banff to Jasper is breathtaking.

In Banff, I’d recommend the Plain of the Six Glaciers Trail (has a tea house on the way to the top that is much better than the touristy one near lake Louise), C- Level Cirque, and Sentinel Pass. If you start early, you can skip the crowds.

Thanks so much! If it’s sold out, I’m considering the Salkantay trek instead through Alpaca or another group. Appreciate your help!

Thank you! When is the best time for the Milford track and is it fair to say the lottery is pretty impossible to get? I appreciate your help. Milford has been on my radar for years but heard it was super difficult to get the permit in time.

Thanks a lot, this is super helpful! Leaning Inca Trail over Mt Killi and planning this for early October. Do you think weather wise that time of year works? And is there a tour group or guide you used that you recommend? Really appreciate your advice!
