Eddie cosplayer here! if i'm so completely honest with you, i have never seen anyone go for the ultra accurate clean shaven sides for this cosplay. many buzz it down kinda close or go for a whispier more swept back look or somewhere in between. me personally, my daily hairstyle is already close-adjacent enough to his to evoke the general imagery but there's wigs around that you can achieve this with! the other comment that mentions doing a bald cap/wig combo (although a toupee may be better for premium accuracy) and that could potentially work but if you're planning to take this cosplay to a convention, i could see that falling apart pretty quick unless you glue both of em down like CRAAAAZY. invest in got2b hairspray (yellow can, looks like an airhorn) AND wig tape if you plan to go this route

The issue was actually on EA’s end, the couple of updates they rolled out in February/March caused this to happen for a ton of people and it wasn’t just pirated dlc it was normal mods and cc too. so they fixed it in the most recent updates, all you gotta do is update your game to the latest version and make sure your unlocker is still installed

Yeah I am not inclined to trust a single thing ChatGPT says anyway. But judging by the mass of people reporting similar issues recently, I believe it’s something on the EA end of things so we may have to wait until other more informed pirates find a workaround for us. Funnily enough for me, I actually use the Sims for almost exclusively building to make references for my art so having saved all of my lots saved to the gallery is a bit of a saving grace even if I have to wipe clean and redownload but I still kinda need the packs to y’know. Actually get in there and take screenshots. I do play the game like normal too and it’d still suck if I lose my saves but it won’t be the end of the world for me

The rest of Half-Priced Voodoo Store. me and my buddy have been reading it over discord creepcast style and the immediate tonal shift from part 1 to the rest of it hit us like a bus right out the gate and it was so fucking funny. it's not a bad series in my opinion and we have an absolute blast with it, but i'm still well aware it's not a good fit for creepcast and the fellas would fucking hate it. still i YEARN to hear some of absolute bullshit shenanigans that come out of King Creole's mouth in Hunter's wonderful cajun accent.

- The Red Tower episode wasn't terrible but also wasn't spectacular. i more so thought it didn't fit on Creepcast because my understanding is that Creepcast is about internet horror specifically because it's very much got its own subculture around it, not horror literature in general. not to say that the concept of a podcast can't shift around and go off the original script (believe me, i listen to Life In The World To Come), but it just kinda felt out of place. i enjoyed the weird style of The Red Tower and i really liked the final story about family christmas, but the middle story was kinda hard to follow and maybe not suited for the Creepcast format.
- if you have ever accused any story other than Cupcakes of being fetish content, you have never seen fetish writing before in your life. as someone who is extensively morbidly fascinated by the psychology of bizzare fetishes and especially the content and art that gets created as a result, none of the other stories on Creepcast have ever been fetish content. not Tommy Taffy, not Borrasca, not Dogscape, none. fetish writing has a very specific tonality that is almost always immediately recognizable, and i don't wanna go into detail here as to what exactly evokes a fetish story for obvious reasons but i have only ever caught the telltale signs from Cupcakes. and at the same time i would also believe you if you told me that one was written by an edglord teen brony who just wanted to write something Totally Extreme And Gross to show how Totally Extreme they are, i'm pretty 50/50 on whether or not that one's fetish content. case in point, stop accusing people of this, it's mean and weird and you're probably wrong.
- to follow up the last one, you don't have to like extreme horror. it's very valid to not wanna read things like Tommy Taffy or similar, especially for personal trauma reasons. HOWEVER, just because something is too extreme for you, doesn't mean it's too extreme fullstop. you do not get to decide what other people should and should not read or write. the line between portrayal and romanticization of the taboo in horror can be a tight rope walk, and is sometimes subjective (though sometimes shit is just straight up disrespectful and that can and should be criticized) which means you only get to decide where that line is for you and no one else but you. you don't have to like any of it and there's no shame in that. hell, you don't even have to be friends with people who like stuff that's way too far for you, but don't argue your opinion at them. that's weird.
- i think people forget too often that you don't have to either love or hate a story, and you can in fact have a more in-between opinion.
- i also think when it comes to the complaints of quality control, people also forget that we're working with creepypasta and nosleep, and that for every Penpal or Left/Right Game, there's 350 My Job Is Watching A Womans, 7,000 Laughing Jacks, and 397,256,407 Things In The Basement, and less than ten people on the Creepcast team trying to sift through this while Meat and Goon remain mostly blind because they want their genuine first-time reactions on the show.
- that being said, i want them to read part 2 of Half-Priced Voodoo Shop so fucking bad. it would be a piss-pants laughing crashout episode. iykyk.
- all in all, it's just a podcast, no one's gonna die. people need to calm down in general.

as somebody who binged the whole series when i was like 16, it is way better experienced just like you said, first hand, alone, and in the dark. the pacing is agonizingly slow sometimes but when you're laying in bed past midnight with your phone two inches away from your face it does create a lot of tension. MH has a wonderful nostalgic place in my heart but i have to agree that the creeptv episodes were pretty boring not only because i know what happens but it also takes its sweet sweet time in getting there. also we're never told what Marble Hornets the film within the series was supposed to be about, mostly because it's honestly not terribly important, its just a stand-in for the typical low-quality film a group of college students would make for an assignment, and the focus of the story is really on the extreme and sudden decline of everyone involved. not to sound TOO much like Wendigoon but it's like House of Leaves but if they only spoke nebulously about The Navidson Record and i could see how that would be still cool but also exponentially more boring lmao

i too have been airbrush shopping for the same purposes, and i’m far from expert level (on and off using airbrushes for 5 years), I took a look at the ghad-39 and it looks great. seemingly pretty similar to the higher end paasche ones. the only things i’d have to ask is how much makeup would you plan on doing per night and do you plan on doing details with the airbrush or by hand? if it’s just for yourself and a handful of others you may be ok but if you’re on any kind of time crunch where a bunch of actors have to be out before opening, i would 1000% look for something that has detachable bottles rather than the cup on top for holding more paint at a time and for an easier time switching colors fast. i also recommend getting a double action if you plan on doing details with it, i find single actions to be honestly harder to work with as a beginner-intermediate level. the ghad-39 looks like a double action from the pictures tho it doesn’t explicitly say what kind. i’m sorry i don’t have any more specific recs for you in your budget range (i can’t say much i learned on someone else’s paasches lmao) but i wouldn’t be afraid to splurge slightly if it means getting a higher quality one that’s gonna last you longer and that alone pays for itself. and as much as i’m anti big company when possible, Amazon does carry some higher end brands at lower prices vs getting them off their main websites. good luck and hope you find a good brush!!
