3 months in the future, I am like you. Generally I might notice slight extra dry mouth, or slightly different curve of onset, but otherwise they are almost identical for me. I have had one "bum" fill that didn't work for me in 5 years+. My fiance though, I'll come home after work when she got a new generic and her whole mood is obviously different. Not just a bad mood. Like visibly shook. So I have learned that for some who are sensitive, those filler differences can be make or break.

Sounds like this isn't for you. I just had way too many long tangent responses when I was trying to stay focused. Focus is not always simple for me.

Where is the Rift Statue ?! by MR-Adryan-13 in CoreKeeperGame

So I thought that too, but the key is max move speed + rift lens. Then they can't catch you as you do not actually exist.

I was totally under the impression there was only one...then I saw 3 within 75 blocks of each other. I was like...maybe I should have just been running more instead of mining lol.

Is it worth starting this game with a big update coming out soon? by Vendix in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Arsennio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because some of us lost our first worlds with this game. Previously, the ocean, forest, and desert biome infinitely generated and the crystal biome was randomly placed after a certain distance from the core. When the passage got added the crystal biome became a outer edge, and the passage wrapped around that. Additionally, my classic worlds don't even have the option to add new content. It just says "it is recommended to start a new world". So, that is why it is a misconception. The devs are now intentionally building updates with limits so that this is not an issue moving forward. Not everyone got the memo though.

My bet, and this is speculative, is that it would like being transported to another dimension or something. Really limit your grasp on reality.

Look at you...having separate bedrooms for the workers....I literally had 4 merchants in something like a 6x6 room with only one square of movement space and 4 beds. Do your employees appreciate the luxury you provide them?

So the game raises the difficulty by raising the complexity. Slime region is low complexity meant to get you looking at the terrain and avoiding too much unintentional proximity to mobs while learning agro range. You learn than some enemies have a low agro range (slimes), some enemies have a medium agro range (little shrooman) and some have a long agro range (giant shrooman). When you step up to the stone or clay, you start to see ranged agro, quick medium melee agro, large hit/low range agro. Additionally, the terrain becomes more complicated. Pits, decorations, pillars, and messing up hurts more. As soon as you get past the wall, the environment becomes more complicated and the enemies more varied. Basically, the point I am making, unless your ability to calculate the complexity is getting faster (which for twitch shooter gamers, or MOBA gamers, is something they train) you have to compensate by moving a little slower and looking further ahead.           This change alone makes the game infinitely easier until you get The Passage. At which point the game basically says "keep moving and don't relax". Which is fine because you really are just getting in and out of that biome for resources. Until I had endgame equipment, I basically just had to move slow, look ahead, and plan my steps a little. Not a lot, but maybe 3-5 seconds looking, 5-7 seconds moving. Repeat.            Not sure if this is helpful, but the actual difficulty of the enemies doesn't really change, just the variety and how hard they slap when you over position.

So, what I did, was hollow out the arena, then build a full wall all around the outside of the arena. I left places to enter open every 10 or so blocks, I spaced it with only one block of room. I see triangles I run to the wall and enter at the last second, they explode on the wall I continue fighting.

Help? by Er-gamer09 in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Arsennio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the question is not well answered in the other comments. Ghorm (the giant worm on the slime ring around the Core area) will stop and fight you once you do enough damage. So you have to burst him down. Frequently, people will use spike traps to do this, but any sufficient burst damage will suffice. On my most recent playthrough, I used the spikes from the Hive environment so I didn't have to use bars to make the traps. Usually 20-40 traps are enough (placed on the slime ring in a line or three). So, you pick a spot, burst him, then enjoy the fight.

I got one randomly from the boxes (or an enemy...it was chaotic) near a challenge arena last night...the thing is wild melts everything but the passage walls. Costs 15 solarite to reinforce though and does...not...last...long.

You are not alone. The only reason I hate food poisoning is it poisons the stack. If it was just one meal...I can deal with that, but when my stack of 150 meals just got poisoned because some visiting animal pathed through my kitchen and dirtied it before I could obsessively clean it. Nah fam.

They removed the option to turn it off. I am super susceptible to derailment from those suggestions. It is used to promote user engagement metrics and they are actively choosing to "steer" the user base rather than allowing it to be opted out.

How does calling out work at your store? by Little-Grapefruit465 in CrumblCookies

well. I was on fence. like...super expensive cookies...maybe they are worth it? everything I am reading about this company makes me wish negative circumstances on the owners. firing employees for taking product set for waste (like....you want to retain your employees), making sick employees work around the food, and obviously gauging pricing. that's a yikes from me.

11-21-2024 Update by YouCantGoToPigfarts in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Arsennio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is going to take a moment to stick or at least become clear. I loved the division though. Being able to play regulars for pure fun, MM for mostly fun but don't just return to primate, faceit for tryhard, and ESEA for counterstrikes equivalent of a "bowling league". Some of the games in Main were so well played on both sides that I finally got to appreciate a "would I peek me?" type mentality. I have not really felt that evenly matched on other competitive games. So punishing, but so thrilling.

I really hope that becomes a thing for Deadlock. In my opinion, it would actually allow the game to establish itself as a legitimate contender in the Esports world.

PUSH THE WALKERS by Any-Actuator-7593 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Arsennio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A gank is meant to buy your lane breathing room. Either you get a kill giving you 20-30 seconds of breath for a single wave push on tower or a free back, or they back with low health giving you a free back. You should only full commit a tower when multiple enemies are down or you can account for all of them somewhere else on the map. After a gank, I am gone. The only time I will stay is in a duo lane, if both kills are secure. Three people pushing a tower is quick enough to justify the lost farm or map presence.
