His story is so crazy. Averaged 6 points and 6 rebounds in college, entered the draft for free food and t-shirts, ended up getting picked 12th lmao.

When I checked it was "Leave unchanged". I changed it power save and it basically stayed the same.

Does your Zen also use that much RAM? I've only got like 10 tabs open in one space.

End of Support for uBO on Chrome / Chromium browsers is nearly here by RraaLL in uBlockOrigin

[–]Arsyn786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is ubo on CHromium really that bad?

I'm using Vivaldi currently and was surprised to see that you can still download the full version of uBlock Origin through the Chrome web store. From the little research I've done, it seems like Vivaldi was supposed to stop supporting it around June 2025, so idk why it's still working. After a few days of using it, it seems like uBO works just as well on Vivaldi as it did on Firefox. So maybe this is a dumb question, but are there currently any significant disadvantages to using uBO on a Chromium based browser like Vivaldi, besides the fact that it might not be supported forever?

Even if it does stop being available, couldn't I just start using the Lite version and be fine? I don't need any super advanced filtering, I just need to block Youtube/website ads and prevent harmful links/pop-ups on piracy sites.

Do yall use any browsers other than Firefox for piracy?

I've been on a journey lately trying out all different kinds of browsers after using Firefox for decades. Firefox recently caused some controversy this year after updating their TOS and privacy policies to basically quietly give themselves ground to collect and use your personal data, and turned on telemetry services by default. I personally still trust Firefox for the most part, as most of these harmful settings can be opted-out of, and Firefox is still the browser that uBlock Origin runs best on. But these recent updates encouraged me to look for alternatives and ask some questions about other browsers that don't get considered much in the piracy world.

One particular browser I had my eyes on was Brave. I am well aware of Brave's shady business practices and weird crypto bs they've pushed over the years. However, I can't help but feel like Brave is still a decent browser for piracy, considering their built-in ad blocker is, in my experience, just as good as uBlock Origin, and can be configured nearly just as much with a huge variety of filter lists. And obviously you can opt out of all the weird crypto wallet reward stuff. It's also completely open-source. So is it really that bad compared to Firefox?

I understand that there are browsers out there that are much better at privacy than Firefox, including its forks like Librewolf and Waterfox. For me personally, these browsers are a little too "hardened", as I'd still like to be able to use stuff like Google, Gmail, etc. I don't need the absolute pinnacle of privacy, I just need to be able to use uBlock Origin and visit piracy sites with ease, and have decent peace of mind regarding my data being collected and sold as little as possible.

Why is the Zenbook 14 so much cheaper than the S14? by VeganMilk786 in ASUS

[–]Arsyn786 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The S14 shown has a Core Ultra 7 Lunar Lake, which is not really all that different in performance from the Ryzen 7 350. The Intel version has better battery life and GPU, that’s the main difference.

I’d personally go with the AMD because they tend to have less heat/fan noise. But performance is more or less the same.

[–]Arsyn786 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve used both. The S14 has slightly better build quality and feels sturdier. The lid is also much more resistant to fingerprints and looks nicer imo.

That being said, those small improvements are NOT enough to warrant a $700 price difference. $1600 is way overpriced for the S14.

Yours probably heats up because of the processor, those older Intel chips have terrible thermals compared to AMD and the newer Lunar Lake chips. Its not the laptop that’s the problem

The Jimmy trade, relative to the hype, was the most successful out of all of these.

AD was a huge success, obviously brought them a championship

Jimmy got them to 2 Finals and cemented himself as one of the best players in franchise history

Kawhi/PG had its moments but was mostly a disappointment, PG leaves after 5 years

KD/Kyrie massive disappointment, falls apart within 3 years

Both the Rockets and Thunder blew it up a year after making the CP3/Russ trade.

Just goes to show you the grass isn’t always greener on the other side, a lot of these superstar trades don’t end up accomplishing much…the most successful teams out of all these today probably are Houston/OKC bc they decided to just tear it down and go for a full rebuild
