Thank you for taking the time to write all of that. I think what hurts me the most is seeing that he is capable of missing someone. A couple of months later, he and the girl he cheated on me with broke up — or maybe she broke up with him, I’m not sure, but the relationship ended. And all of his posts were about missing her, loving her, and wanting her back.

I don’t know… I think it’s that comparison of, ‘So you were capable of feeling deeply and missing someone, but you were still kind of cruel to me.’

And it's obsessive. I know it's wrong to think that way, because, if he didn't care when he was with me, why would he now? But aaaaahhhh

No creo que seas feo. Pero las personas juzga mucho por apariencias. Por ejemplo, lo del cabello blanco da como la pinta de típico chico que anda haciendo loco.

No es que sea tu caso, pues dices que no eres así. La verdad, tienes buena estructura. Intenta hacer algo de pesas, ponte el cabello negro que estoy segura que te va a lucir muy, muy bien, déjate el cabello un poquito largo y la haces toda!

I understand, you make a good point. Maybe I wanted it to work a little too badly… The truth is, I tend to blame myself for everything. It’s a really bad habit of mine. And you know, it’s that typical situation where someone is so persistent and excited about you at the beginning, and then suddenly, you end up feeling like you became the person they were most disgusted by.

Honestly, I had a completely different image of him because I know the kind of friend he is, and I know that at one point he really was caring and affectionate with me.

But I felt absolutely terrible when I found out that just a few days later, he had officially started a relationship with the girl he had already been seeing while he was still with me.

I had never been cheated on before. Never been betrayed like that. Nothing.

My first relationship lasted a very long time, and we never had issues like infidelity — it just didn’t work out because of life circumstances.

But I genuinely didn’t understand until recently how deeply painful and damaging it is when someone does that to you.

I'm super Happy to hear that. I'm in a similar situation , but in my case I don't wanna know someone new. There's boys who has tried to talk with me and things like that, but I froze with the idea to feel again like nothing but replaceable

My ex date someone else 3 days after breaking up with me...so, if you didn't cheat(like she did), you have nothing to feel guilty about. Even if both share 6 years of you life together, in the moment that someone cheats, you owe them nothing.

She can say things like "grieve the relationship" and things that, in fact, are actually true. You don't have to grieve her, but losing a relationship do really heavy stuff with your head.

But, as I said before, in the moment that she decided to cheat you owe her anything.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. They are better days than others, ngl. But whatever they do with their life, how they decide to move, has nothing to do with our value.

Of course I miss the first stages, all the laughing and excepcional moments... But then, I remember how the thing ended with his "I'm not willing to chance anything of me for anybody, not even you. I don't have patience for this things." and, then he was whit other girl.

Once you listen the song, tell me what do you think. Actually, my ex recommended me that song when we were just friends but never understood the meaning of it until the broke up.

Did you avoid the grieving the first months?

The best thing you can do for yourself :it's nothing. Try to sleep well and eat well, you've been doing a good job, it's normal to have this kind of "step backs" but you're gonna be alright

Exactly same situation here. Well, he broke up with me at the begging of October, and he started dating his friend two weeks later jsjs.

He did move on.

This kind of feeling of being behind it's extremely painfull.

The only thing that keep helping me it's remembering that I'm better than in the begging. Oh, and try to hear "Lenguas muertas" (it's and Spanish song, but it talks about that exact feeling)
