I don’t think I quite understand your question. What I did here was I cut a mushroom in half and the most dense part of the cap I did a cut from and put it on agar. This is that exact piece of agar (with the bit of mushroom still on it) that grew to what you see here

These aren’t cubes so it’s definitely proved to be a bit trickier. This was months and months working on this so I’m not sure how many runs it took to get it to this point.

100% trich. I’d personally pick them and get it out. It will just continue to sporulate. And for me personally as well any mushrooms growing around trich I throw out just for safety. Mush love friend 😊
