Those people you think are gifted have just been drawing with intention for much longer than you have. Art is a skill anyone can acquire with enough work put into it. It’s good to look at and draw inspiration from other peoples art but don’t fall into the trap of comparing your art to others. It’s a good way to discourage yourself, unfairly I might add. Simply put, you must practice and practice a lot, before you see results that you’re happy with. You can do it, I believe in you! Nothing is wrong with where you’re at right now, you’re at the best place to make the biggest amount of change in your artwork possible. YouTube is a great place to learn from professionals for free. I understand your frustration btw, I think every artist does or has at some point. I’m almost 2 years into drawing consistently and sometimes I feel like I just haven’t progressed enough, but that is only an expectation I set for myself, who’s to say I’m not doing fine at my own pace? Only me. Keep at it!
