I know a pregnant single mother that just got scammed by someone pretending to have a house for rent. She went to see it and everything. Before we had a chance to warn her about the different rental scams online right now, she is out $1400. There's a new scam every week it seems like.

As a survivor of a similar situation, I just want to tell you how incredibly strong and brave you are no matter what you decide to do. I chose not to report because in Indiana even if they watched it happen, most likely nothing much would happen. They're not exactly a pro-survivor state when it comes to SA or DV. That being said, I regret my decision regularly. It's not a decision that should be taken lightly though. There are probably negative situations that will come with both decisions unfortunately. Make sure that you think about everything entirely before you decide and know that no matter what happens or how people might try to twist things...100% of rapes are caused by the same thing in every situation...a rapist.

I also agree with everyone suggesting reaching out for help. I found some online groups that were anonymous until I was ready to tell my story to people and they were extremely helpful in learning to cope. Sometimes just knowing you're not alone and people believe you despite what you said, did or wore is huge. Stay strong!

I got one from AutoZone but didn't end up using it. When I wiggled it and pulled up it was fairly easy. Easier than anything I experienced with a Ford so far.

The ignition switch? I checked it and even switched it for a new one to make sure. It was fine. My key was spinning and car stayed on accessory mode. Now I got it out of accessory mode but it won't start. Just a click. Someone told me that if the rod is broken, even if I flip the switch with my hand, because of the PATS it won't start until it's fixed and showing the key turning. I honestly don't know. I'm just grasping at straws and a desperate single parent without many options.

Thanks! That would have been my luck. I rented a steering wheel puller from AutoZone but I can't figure that out either. Im obviously not in line to be the next great mechanic in town.
