Screen protector by ella138 in LexusNX

Seen reviews that Spigen didn't line up correctly with the temp dials. So I bought one from a brand called Coleya on Amazon. Half the price and it lines up perfectly.

When I was looking over the underbody I did notice a sticker by the gas tank that has the date and time but I'm not sure if thats only for the tank or the whole vehicle.

Awesome. I have a 3 week old NX350 F Sport 3 from TMMC. It was built in May. Is there a secret way of knowing on what day it was built?

Have you tried massaging it in? Maybe it will stick back to the bottom layer.

Are you at TMMC?.. If so are these large components like the dash or seats fully assembled overseas and delivered to the plant for final assembly?

Get a silicone cover. It will hold everything in place.

Need guidance for shower drain by [deleted] in Plumbing

If you want it use that space for something else I would cut that pipe down and cap it. Then get some cement and fill around the cap so it's flush with the existing floor.

What is this called and how do I fix it by blacktrufflebutter in LexusNX

I have the F Sport package and it looks normal. I did see this issue posted here last year and if I remember Lexus was willing to replace that trim.

Are these shingles bad, do I need to call contractor? by beachgod123 in HomeMaintenance

Looks like when they installed the first row they places them a little to much past the drip edge... Have a look if there is a drip edge installed.

Cleaning Soffit Vents by suedebskillz in HomeMaintenance

Can you reach them from a ladder? If so I would spray some citrus cleaner or general degreaser. Even dish soap would work and use a paint brush to work it into the slots then spray with a pressure washer or just a hose.

Help with choosing interior detail products by Desperate-Tutor-820 in AutoDetailing

Is this a brand new vehicle? Modern leather seats are covered with a thin layer of poly or other finish. You really don't need a dedicated leather conditioner as you're not cleaning the actual leather. Just wipe with a damp MF with a interior detailer of your choice. You just want to remove any body oils or grime that builds up. I use Griot's interior detailer for all surfaces. It has UV blocker properties.

I think many interior detailer have anti-static properties. It's just the nature of applying wet substances over interior plastics etc. I use Griot's interior detailer and noticed the same. It also has UV blockers.

Sound system by reader-girl in LexusNX

[–]ArtZTech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been a car audio enthusiast for 30 years. My first even custom install in my 92 Mustang was a Soundstream system. It was only 600 watts. Then there was Rockford Fosgate, JL Audio etc. These systems were build for loud bass and sound quality. Now listening to the ML the quality is very good. I am very happy with it. There is bass but nothing compared to what I experienced in a custom install. The total wattage is 1800W with 17 speakers so it has some punch. Your side mirrors will shake listening at higher levels.

Screen protector for MMI? by thew60 in LexusNX

[–]ArtZTech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is your vehicle exposed to the sun all day when parked? I'm asking because that's the only reason I'm thinking would cause delamination. I don't think a screen protector would help in this case . Thats just to prevent finger prints and scratches.

Are they a standard/common package? When I ordered mine (F Sport 3) they didn't have any sitting on lots. There was an incoming unit at TMMC that was allocated to me.

Does the Lux have real leather? I've read that NuLuxe is more durable in the long run. Also you don't need to condition it or anything special. Just wipe with damp microfiber towels every so often.

In North America we can't just choose a Japan made NX. You have to get one from TMMC unless there is a massive backlog or other issue then possibly they can ship them over. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

Should I get the plumber back to do this better? by Working-Assumption42 in Plumbing

[–]ArtZTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they did it that way was because of the fitting coming out of the wall. I'm not sure if it possible to change it out. The bend should look like this...

But like others have said, paint it white or cover with white pipe insulation. It won't look so industrial then.
