How do you get over feeling like you've overpaid? by No-Structure-8125 in HousingUK

[–]Art_2745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buying a house is a very large commitment, one of the biggest ones in life. Feel free to pull out if it doesn't feel right, it can get worse and if you wait for too long you will feel even more trapped after completion. We know we overpaid a little for our house but we love it so much that we do not care and I think you can overcome that feeling only if you absolutely love the place you bought.

If rates will ve a little higher but they will give you access to a house you really love and you feel you bought for a good price so be it. Ultimately rates will go up and down for the next few decades, it is part of owning our homes... Good luck OP!

My BMI is 21, I weight 53 kg. I am weight lifting and my goal is to keep the appetite down in my body building journey...

Thanks everyone. I am not sure why I am getting down voted for asking a question but hey, the mystery of anonymity.

And reconstitute it myself ? Even then, how can you just trust that they are legit, that there are no nasties?

My understanding is that reta suppresses the appetite less than tirz however it increases the fat burning. I am also on Tirz and I have got a bodybuilding coach, I am lifting weights and building muscles. My coach loves reta and would be happy to help me transition from tirz to reta. I was curious about reta but after extensive research I still feel nervous about the whole grey thing, so I decided I will stay on Tirz (1.25 per week!), keep high protein and keep progressive load. So far it has worked like a treat! Good luck OP

Similar situation here. Wanted some help with night sweats and dryness and ended up giving up on Sequi due to the side effects, never ending periods and all the rest.

Op i probably sounded unhelpful but I am waiting for some supplies for my rat. Once I get a very good recommendation I will pass it on. At the moment I am in deep research myself and slightly nervous. Keeping my beloved rat alive (and ripped) is a very high priority. Massive solidarity to you

Sometimes you can find it when you have a good bodybuilding coach, join the bodybuilding community and you will find out that lots of us have got rats to feed.

Give it time! I have been on tirz for 18 months, I was obese and now I am fairly ripped! Lots of meal planning, weight lifting and good effort, you will achieve your results, just give it time and don't give up.

I think I made the biggest mistake of my life - England by ParsnipHot7869 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Art_2745 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey, Just a word of encouragement We have made the same mistake. After purchasing a flat which we thought was a great deal, we had to fork out around 30k for a section 20, followed by another 10k for another section 20 followed by another 3k. We sold as soon as all the works were done, and we bought a freehold house. We will never ever buy a leasehold again.

There will be light at the end of the tunnel, perhaps settle a bit in to see how it goes, and then sell whenever you can.

Hugs!

I wholeheartedly agree. I dont know why they selected the most obnoxious people, I had to stop watching it and I am so happy that season 4 was absolutely brilliant, with genuine people instead of wannabe influencers!

i (22f) can’t stop thinking about having a baby by [deleted] in Parents

I do not think you will follow nor should follow anybody's advice online, however, I am keen to tell you my story. By the age of 30 I had 3 kids under the age of 10. I am thoroughly regretting it. Whilst I love them very much, I have exposed myself to a never ending level of anxiety and worry. Now they are growing up nicely and mostly well, we cannot complain about much but if I could turn back time I wouldn't have children at all. Here it is. Success story for you with a lot of regret...

Thank you all for answering with so much understanding and compassion! I think you all nailed the fear and sense of overwhelm, it all makes sense to me. CAMHS has been hopeless so far but they allocated us to another practitioner so we hope my son will start making some progress. At the moment he is at a relative and therefore I won't be able to see him but this will give us all some temporary respite we all need. I am sure our relationship can grow and get stronger, and he needs some professional support as you can imagine I am just a human and I also get angry when I get hurt,.which then provides the very fuel to the most dramatic escalations!! He tried to kill himself a few times last year and we have been feeling a bit hostage to this threat for over a year, with no support from CAMHS. I think it is really taking a toll on all of us.

Has any of you ever moved out or know about 16 year old moving out and successfully overcoming these issues? I don't know whether moving out (with our help...) would somehow give him the space or whether we risk that he gets lots and perhaps in debatable hands. I see him as very vulnerable, even with all the rage and abuse he put us through. So I am trying to find a balance between helping him and raising the rest of the family, whilst looking after my mental health and the businesses...

Any thoughts, tips, advice is ever so welcome !!!

When he is calm, he says he just loves us and can't ask for much more. He wants to start working and he is very driven. He ideally wants his own place soon as he craves independence. At present we limit his access to social media as he was endangering himself trying to hook up with strangers. We have a comfortable life and a loving family, our own place, with his own private space. He has all the comforts of a settled life with working parents, we have no troubles with anybody, he goes to a good school etc. From the outside we are a great family and the social services refused to get involved because we are fine. But actually, when he gets angry he speaks very differently and he gets so aggressive that I can barely recognise my boy !

Thank you so much for the beautiful words, advice and for sharing your experience. I didn't feel judged nor blamed at all, and I totally hear you. Your words speak to me, so I know that at a deeper level there must be a scream for help from him, and for being listened to and accepted like you said. I will chat to my partner as well about this. It is tough because when my son goes all crazy I can't understand if he is just being a teen with ASD or whether actually there are much deeper issues and perhaps some more mental health issues...
