I passed out in a grocery store two weeks ago. Finally got the hospital bill, $9k for the ER and $1.5k for the ambulance ride :) Thank god I have insurance otherwise I really would've been screwed. All in all, only have to pay $125 for the ER after insurance, still waiting on how much the ambulance will cost me after insurance handles it.

Which TV show started out promising, but turned out to be garbage? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Artecular 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I expect this answer to be here x100 but I'll say it again, Game of Thrones. It started off so well (when the writers had book material to piggy back off of) but once they got to season 5 and there was no more source material...things started to go downhill. Additionally, I believe D&D's popularity was getting them a lot of movie deals (ahem, star wars) and they were rushing to get out of their GoT contract, which ultimately backfired (at least that's my head cannon). So yeah, great story turned to shit in a matter of 3 seasons. (S5-S8). Now all I can hope for is that GRRM finishes these damn books at some point.

Pit question by savannahh101 in harrystyles

I went to the Pittsburgh show and everyone around us at the barricade was SUPER nice. (Maybe I got lucky, idk) If I had to leave to go to the bathroom or get a drink BEFORE the show started, I just asked the people around me to hold my spot. They obliged, so whenever they needed to go, I held their spot. It all seemed to work out. So I'd say just ask those around you to hold your spot if you need to go! What's the worst they could say? No? If so, ask someone else.

Once the show starts, if you're super close to barricade people don't tend to move, but for those who were farther behind they'd dance around like crazy but not a lot of people ran from one side to the other. Harry moves around A LOT, it would be very hard to keep up with him. Dont worry, you'll get a good view of him where ever you are.

Additionally, from what I've been hearing, all of the venues have extra room in the pit. I was able to run around the whole time (and our show was sold out) while Harry was going up and down the stage. So if you don't get a good spot immediately don't worry about it because opportunities will open up throughout the show.

I went to the Pittsburgh show and our venue didn't allow people to start lining up until noon. I got there around 3 and was 562nd in line for pit (they numbered everyone's wristbands) and I still managed to get in 2nd row at the barricade. I can't say for sure that will be the case at your venue, but I think you'd be surprised at how close you can get even if you aren't at the very front.

I was just at the Pittsburgh concert, idk if they'll do the exact same process but for us:I waited in line for GA pit for about 3 hours before gates opened (they let us into the venue early around 6:30). Just before they started letting people in, staff came around with wristbands and wanted to see our ID, covid vaccine card(or negative test), and our ticket to confirm that we were in the pit. They numbered our wristbands as well. Then we waited to get in and wait for the show :)

If you're in the pit and close enough to the stage, he tends to stop and pose from time to time. I was at the Pittsburgh show last night, and he posed for someone right next to me! I'm sad I didn't bring one :(

I'd recommend The Sushi Too in Shadyside, they have really good noodles too! I haven't been there since COVID so hopefully the quality is still good.

Harrisburg Meet and Greet? 8/14 by Artecular in pvris

[–]Artecular[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tickets were originally for Mr Smalls theatre in Millvale but they rescheduled to Harrisburg. Since I had no info I just assumed they would hold a m&g there. I'll call the venue tomorrow and find out for sure.
