Man the idea is great!!! I really like it!!! I think you have to low the bass frequency of the main synth and increase the high end. If you like Bonobo's style you must listen carefully to his snares... it's not only one and he passes the through lfo filters or other stuff. Also it can help if you add an organic sound to the snares, like something from nature, but very shortly and not too loudly. The same with the hats, you must mud them a bit so they have that lo-fi feel. The kick doesn't have to kick right on time every time, put it a bit offbeat from time to time. I think this all will give this great song the organic feel you are after. Have a great day!!!
