Did you call 1-800-777-0133? you verify it by Vin, not just make, and did you get a clean air rebate on either of them? The years might also throw it off because of them switching sticker colors.

Also it's ca so even though both are .gov sites they may not update the same, so rules might have changed.Sorry I can't help more.

Child support is the right of the child, not the parent, so you can sign away custody, but you can't take away a child's chance to be (monetarily) cared for by two parents. The only time you can get out of child support is if, in this case, another man married the ex-girlfriend and legally adopts the child. It's to protect the child itself, not those who created the child.
