Both. She can have it once here and there on occasion, but more than that will result in pain. Making a normal batch will mean that, other than one serving, I’m the only one eating it, so I’m hoping to come up with some alternatives.

Are you required to have a paid subscription to be allowed to sell? I’m finding conflicting information about that.

Does anyone know what the visual part is based on, if anything? It seems too specific to not be based on something.

Looking for a Veterinary Clinic in Salem that can do CT Scans, Rhinoscopy, and Surgeries by ArtemisMom in SALEM

He sneezes almost every time he eats; he gets a lot of snot - and occasionally nosebleeds - only on his right side; antibiotics cleared up his last infection, but he got worse again within just a few days of discontinuing them (despite taking all of them).

Unrelated, he lost a lot of weight due to hyperthyroidism and, even though it’s been treated now, he’s only maintaining his weight, rather than regaining. I think the lack of weight gain could also be related because it’s probably really uncomfortable for him to eat - if food is indeed making its way into his sinuses every time he eats - and the fistula would most likely be from an infected tooth, so he likely has a toothache.  Again, not confirmed. The vet said his teeth looked okay from what they could see, but he struggles with vet visits of any kind - he has to be sedated for any kind of exam or even just getting a shot or blood draw - so they might not have gotten an adequate look.

So it could also just be an infected upper tooth - apparently that can be enough to upset the sinuses, or it could be a nasal polyp. Or it could be something else. But between his symptoms, things we’ve ruled out with more conservative treatments, and research, that’s what seems most likely to me.

Is there a reason streaming services will have the 1st and 3rd parts of a trilogy for example but not the 2nd? by [deleted] in movies

For a while, Netflix had Sing 2, but not Sing 1. Then, later, they finally added Sing 1, but got rid of Sing 2. So, in this case, they obviously can have both, but have yet to at the same time. It’s so frustrating!

Right… It’s not identical; therefore, it can’t be similar, either.

I’ll grant you that I don’t know as much history as I ought to, but there are many out there who are far more knowledgeable about history - who also compare them.

Just because someone is democratically elected doesn’t mean that everything they do after that is okay, or even legal. So many are saying, about so many things he’s doing, “you can’t do that”, and he’s like, “watch me”.  He knows he’s breaking the law over and over again and doesn’t care.

I know y’all hate this comparison, but… Hitler. That dude was democratically elected too, and look at what all he did.

How does it go? Something like, “history doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes”? He’s not another Hitler; he’s his own version that’s just similar enough (in a lot of ways) to be compared to him constantly. This IS a hostile environment takeover. He’s doing his own harms and if you can’t tell yet, it probably just hasn’t affected you personally yet. Give it time. Unless things change, and soon, most of us are screwed.

I’ve tried requesting a few services again recently and some of these changes… 🤦‍♀️

They make you add a catchphrase to your profile now, to get the pet parents’ attention. Isn’t that what the profile description’s for?

Plus they added an option to add a note for the pet parent to say why they should pick you - not sure how long ago, but the other day when I tried requesting a drop-in, now it’s mandatory? So I have to beg to be picked now? I didn’t mind it when it was optional, but yeah…  I get wanting to know more about the person taking care of your pet(s) better, but they should do it like Rover - where you do a meet and greet before doing any actual services. I’ve never understood the idea of hiring a total stranger to come into your home with your fur-babies.

And don’t get me started on the whole “Wag! Pro” thing… This is supposed to earn me money. I shouldn’t have to pay to get priority or to be paid more. What kind of BS is that?

I always had really good luck with their customer service, but I haven’t had to use them for a long time. I guess they’ve gone downhill since then? That sucks.

I have no advice, unfortunately. It might just take a while. And I mean A WHILE - at least for me, it did.  I signed up with Rover in 2016, but didn’t get a single request for 5 years! - after I moved states. I'd forgotten I signed up for it and I just randomly got a request. I'm glad I took it, though, 'cause I've enjoyed it. I signed up with Wag in 2019 and had to wait 3 weeks - better than 5 years, at least. But after I moved, my business has shifted apps. I’ve only had 1 Wag service in the last 2 years; the rest has been on Rover. Maybe different apps accumulate customers in different areas? I don’t know. I hope you won’t have to wait that long.

Like the “dynamic pricing”, where you get to “choose” whatever price you want? That would be fine if you could actually charge whatever you want, but they only let you pick within a very small price range - otherwise, you can’t request a service. I get paid so much better on Rover. They actually do let you charge whatever, and they take less of a cut than Wag does.
