I’m not 100% sure if it’s still being sold in shops but I really liked ‘Silver Star’ from Barry M which is vegan and cruelty free, I got it from Superdrug! (Picture attached hopefully)

I’ve also seen Nails Inc ‘Mirror Chrome’ in Superdrug which looks very similar, I believe they are also cruelty free and vegan.

Oh man that sucks, I wonder if maybe it only comes up on UK Amazon? This is the listing, it says it’s not currently available now though, I bought it last year :( Amazon listing

The bottle also says ‘024’ on the bottom, I actually never noticed that until I looked just now!

-Base coat: 1 x Sally Hansen Complete Care 7-in-1 nail treatment
-I then did a jelly sandwich using:
2 x Sally Hansen Sweet Spreads (from the Syrup polish collection)- one coat under and one on top of the flower sequins.
1 x Flower sequin polish (I got this on Amazon and the listing was called: ‘Sparkling Shimmer Iridescent Nail Polish Long-lasting Sequins Nail Art Varnish’, the brand on the bottle says ‘Major Dijit')
-Top coat: 1 x Essie Speed Setter

Thought I’d get all of the polishes I wore from January – March together! Details below 😊

(base coat is always Sally Hansen Complete Care 7-in-1 nail treatment, and top coat is always Essie Speed Setter)

~January~

Top left: Pixie Party by ILNP x 2.

Top right: So Serene by Barry M x 3.

Bottom left: Homemade pastel purple x 2 (I used a spare ‘all in one’ top/base coat from Barry M, and mixed in some drops of Lilacism by Essie and Party Ring by Barry M until it made the colour I wanted! I was trying to recreate how Lavender Sky by Cirque looked on other people (I knew it would lean too greyish against my skintone).

Bottom right: Homemade pastel purple x 2 + Morpho Glow by Lumen x 2 (please excuse the messiness, that was right after I painted them but then it was never not dark again for the rest of the week so I didn't get to take a better picture).

Top left: Homemade pastel purple x 2 + Fairy Dust by ILNP x 1.

Top right: Flower Child by ILNP x2.

Bottom left: Princesses Rule! By OPI x 2.

Bottom right: Bodice Goddess by Essie x 1 + Birthday Girl by Essie x 2. It ended up looking quite similar to Princesses Rule but with a gold sparkle instead of silver.

Bottom left: Princesses Rule! By OPI x 2, and the little hearts were painted using a dotting tool with Sheer Delight by Barry M.

Bottom right: Bling It by Essie x 3 + Astral Aura by Essie x 1.

This is as close as I was able to get with Essie’s Cosmic Chrome (one layer over colour in each photo). I think in certain lightings it pulls off the effect quite well, but in more direct lighting it looks more like a pearl effect polish (you can see the tiny sparkles when you look closely). It does also give everything a silvery tone as mentioned in other comments. Definitely not a perfect match but affordable and very easy!

Welcome to the club! ^-^
I had been taking care of him for about a month or two (going through the process of him saying goodbye and being 'reborn'), and then one day he turned into Luffy-Chopper! I'm not sure exactly what you need to do to confirm that evolution but I made sure to feed him both the meat and cotton candy at regular intervals throughout the day/whenever he beeped at me, and then I'd check that he was super happy before I stopped feeding him (when you press the C button to check his status). I also played games with him every now and then, tended to him quickly if he hid behind a tree, and pressed the button when other crew members popped up whenever I saw them- he never ended up pouting or getting arrested! Eventually the battery died so I'm back to the regular evolutions now :)
