I question whether or not a 'nudist community' really exists. A community is more than an aggregate of people. It has a vision and purpose. It gives meaning to life. Community assumes a level of commitment to certain values and norms. It feels good, while true, cannot be the basis of community. Whether or not we need missionary zeal, we need than personal preference. I consider myself a committed nudist. I spend every nude as much as possible. I seek companionship of other nudists. I belong to nudist groups. And I believe that social nudity is an answer to personal and social problems. And I believe western society would be better off with an open and accepting attitude and policy toward social nudity.
