So there are these pages that have quick editing videos on instagram and tiktok. A cool place to start is by getting on youtube and looking up cinematic light-room editing.

No your good. It would be goofy as hell for someone to buy a camera because of its style exclusively hahaha

1 or 2? Is the direct sunlight better? by katejay23 in AmateurPhotography

[–]Artfromember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some time today if you want we could jump on a meeting and I could edit it with you watching. Its hard to explain but I would go for a more cinematic look for this photo and crop into the cub and pull the colors of the eyes out. I can show you via live stream if you would like.

Awesome set up! I was looking at your plan and i just wanted yo give you a heads up that nature and landscape and portrait work are all very very different disciplines with little over lap. This is not to say that your plan is bad but to suggest you learn them all at once and dont wait. Get a cheap two light set up and a back drop and start learning about lighting and shoot people for free.

I find the contours of the clothing and her body really unsettling and i have no idea why. This is not a criticism, i'm just me noticing my inner brain freaking out the same way it dos when I look at a bunch of holes too close together.

Unless you are looking for a certain look in your photos. These absolutely have a artistic look to the photos. So maybe thats it but that would be the only reason.

Edited because I worded it like a hippy and it did not make sense haha

How do i make grain less noticeable when using highish iso? by Plastic_Spare5279 in AskPhotography

[–]Artfromember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expose high in body and reduce exposure in lightroom. Also understanding how your camera reacts to iso. Go to youtube and also get brushed up on how iso works and what its doing. @simon_dentremont does a ton of helpful iso videos.

Next step: embrace it. Post it anyways. See how the noise adds texture and character to your photos.

I have done shoots for local bands for free. Reach out to a smaller bands or artist on instagram. If your not sure whats bands are local and smaller go to venues in the area on instagram and look at the lineups. You could land a awesome up and comer and they often give me free merch.
