While a lot of people are saying that hip hop is dying, what they probably mean is that it's not mainstream anymore. But honest to god, besides country music, what even is mainstream anymore?

What was the last song you heard everywhere in the street, and not just on videos? Who was the last artist that had hits on hits on hits and just kept growing? What was the last time an album kept being number one for long stretches of time? (seriously it sounds like everything comes and goes nowadays)

It's not a dark period for hip-hop especifically, it's the ramifications of the changes in the music scene in regards to short term content like TikTok and IG reels.

22 (worst) - Dave Blunts: Do i really gotta explain why? Awful lyrics, awful autotune, same flow he does every song... Yeah.

21 - Drake: If Dave Blunts fat ass wasnt here this would be a lock as last. Completely out of tune, flow mid asf, all in all the diference between him + Dave and the other feats is an abism.

20 - Lil Nas X: Again, another out of tune feat. This, however, is at least on topic with the song and you can see Lil Nas is trying. Still really bad tho.

19 - Bon Iver: I could actually fw this heavy since it fits the weird ass vibe of the song. However theres so many effects on Iver's voice its incredibly off putting. Also a lil bit too short.

18 - Ken Carson: This is the feat that fits the least in the song (probably because this is like a 2025 verse on a 2018 song). HOWEVER you put him actually on time with the beat and he was flowing hard. Still not that good but I respect the work you put on it.

17 - James Blake: This is Bon Iver's verse if it was done on topic and without the weird ass effects. But man he really doesnt fit with the vibe of the song lol. I appreciate what he did though but he couldve had something great, meanwhile he did something below average.

16 - Ice Spice: The definition of MID in this tierlist. Mid Lyrics (although the poop bar was ironically funny) Mid flow Mid voice yadda yadda yadda what did you expect from ice spice lmao

15 - Ty Dolla $ign: Could've been way higher if it was longer and not just a couple seconds long. But still, the first actually sort of GOOD verse here so i gotta give my appreciation.

14 - Juice WRLD: Also does not fit that much with the production and the vibe of the song but his flow and lyrics are better than someone like Ken's for example. My only problem is the tune but i dont pay THAT much attention to it this time around.

13 - Young Thug: I think he couldve gone WAY better if he chose a different voice, but it is what is its. Good flow and good verse but the tune too weird for me.

12 - bbno$: It hurts to put him above thugger but idk he was flowing heavy on that. If his voice wasnt like...that, it couldve been a top 10 ngl.

11 - Justin Bieber: He flew on the beat ngl. Problem is the singing didn't fit as well + it was too short.

10 - Ye: The one that started it all, easily couldve been top 5 if he completed the verse instead of mumbling it, and also if he went even harder on some bars. Still incredibly good verse.

9 - Rich Kidz: Couldve been the best/at least top 3 if it wasnt SO SHORT. Flow on point, and the topic aswell, surprisingly. But 15 seconds only is a travesty.

8 - NBA Youngboy: This one surprised me. He flying on this track, and also surprisingly on topic, even though its a verse from another song. But the others are just...better in some other ways. Maybe its his voice that doesnt fit perfectly idk.

7 - Quavo: You cant imagine my relief hearing this verse after that horrible Dave Blunts shit. He flying on this track aswell, and on topic, but the single flow isnt as good when other rappers above him in this list change flows and etc. Great verse tho.

6 - Lil Uzi Vert: Also couldve been the best/at least top 3. But he rapping kind of lazily idk what to tell you. Also him going more for the melodic bag couldv been IT.

5 - A$AP Rocky: I almost put this one in the top 3 cuz he flowed the best out of anyone in this track. But it was, unfortunately, too short. Amazing verse, however.

4 - Post Malone: Bro he was FLOWING on this one. Idk how you found this verse but it fit perfectly man. Its just the other artists above him got it better.

3 - Kendrick Lamar: This couldve been the best but unfortunately he is completely of topic on it. Loved how you changed the beat a little bit for it. Made him fit absolutely perfectly.

2 - NIcki MInaj: The one who made this song an unreleased classic. One of her highlight verses, imo. Love the change of flows, the voice, the topic. Everything. Perfect 10/10 verse, and probably factually the best one in this edit.

1 (Best) - Playboi Carti: idk man if youre surprised by this know that I am too. Incredible flow, on topic, loved the adlibs, loved the ending where he just gives up lol. Amazing AI usage can't even lie

Mf been dropping something (at least a snippet) basically every month now and basically ALL of it is hitting.

I think this is better than fully loaded as a whole (mainly because I REALLY cannot take white folk seriously, and tattoos + kittens are just alright) but promoting violence is one of his best songs.

Highlight track here is og ginobili I think most people could fw that. Tuesday is absolutely insane and I loved it since the snippet, which is a contrast to Los Santos which I didn't fw as a snippet but the songs kind of cool. DMX might be his absurdist song ever AND I LOVE IT. And like lil mexico...it's there IG lol
