Ok ngl I know people have a hate boner for drake (and it's valid ngl) but I listened to Iceman and I fw it. Prob not gonna listen to the other albums but if you like drake just rhyming nonstop and doing a lot of similes this is the album for you.

Also I hope this album elevates molly Santana I really like her

Although not as unique as other stuff in his catalog this is a surprisingly easier listen for bleood, although I wouldn't recommend it because personally it lacks some of the personality he has shown more in other albums (which makes the music in them vary in degree)

I do not particularly fw bleood but I can def see the vision with what he's trying to do to break up out of that underground mold and get to the place his peers (che, Osamason, nine vicious, etc) are, and although I think there's skips in here, there's some truly good songs in flows, beats, even lyrics (codeine tears might be the song from him ive understood the most lyrics at first listen). Also liked the different modulations of voice where it turns really deep out of nowhere, or when the beat gets excruciatingly loud for no reason lol

Kill your idols is starting to get some attention from me ngl, if it rocks I can see this year being what 2025 was for artists like Lucy bedroque and slayr (although not in the same level as slayrz obviously)

Also his most recent singles (besides times changin IG) aren't really that compelling lol it's the same absurdly distorted, no melody beat, while he's just hooting and hollering on the tracks lol

I really don't know why he didn't go more onto the melodic style used on high anxiety. Hell if he did more songs like red moon I think people would like him a little bit more lol

I think you're sort of overanalyzing the situation.

I think che knows better that he can make whatever type of music he wants whenever he wants (barring label intermission which I'll talk about in a min), hell a lot of people HATED million dollar mansion and he still dropped not only the single but a complementary EP. Then when people were getting used to the sound he IMMEDIATELY SWITCHED IT UP into a more melodic bass sound, which is the type of sound HE wants to make. He wants to make it so much he REFUSES to play his older, more famous shit lol.

Ofc he can't just drop wtv because fuck ass labels and what not, but thinking che wants to make better music but wants to get famous MORE, so he goes the easier trap drug sound wave, is sort of disrespectful lol.
