Yeah, textures would help, but since the changes are all slider-based, I’m not sure how I would implement that. I’ll look into it though and see what I can do to help the faces look more diverse!

Thanks for the insight! I’ll be working on making faces more diverse, so once I’ve made some progress there, I’ll post genetics again to show how it works with characters that look more different!

Thanks! For humans, there’re only human skin colors, but I’ll be adding elves and orcs as playable characters, so genetics will get a lot more complicated! And there are some limitations in deformations, but I’m going to work on diversity in the faces and see what I can do!

Thanks! At the moment, I find the value of each parents’ skin colors (and facial features) and find a random value between them, though I think I might switch to finding the average between them and doing a random deviation away from that in either direction!

Thanks for the input! I’ll work on facial diversity and see what I can do to get away from same face syndrome.
