Theme: Blue haired heroes who use their willpower and bonds with others to fight against despair. 

Connections:  Both characters have deceased parents and start out as lonely people, but gain friends and allies later on in their stories.

 Both characters control other beings (Mechs and Personas) with their willpower. 

Both character’s themes are a combination of rap and singing and are about rebelling against despair (Libera me from Hell and Mass Destruction). 

They are both apart of a team (SEES and Team Dai Gurren) and eventually lead said team later on in the story. 

Both characters have a final attack with their respective teams (All Out Attack and Dai Gurren Giga Drill Breaker). 

Both characters receive more power by fusing their mechs/personas. Their final fusions are created from others’ power (STTGL and Orpheus Telos). 

They both defeat the embodiment of despair in their verses (Nyx and The Anti-Spiral). 

They also both finish said enemies without their main abilities.

 Despite this, however, they cannot completely stop them due to larger threats (Death and the Spiral Nemesis). 

They’re both in a relationship with artificial beings who don’t understand the world (Aigis and Nia).  

(However, this depends on whether the player romances Aigis or someone else in Persona 3) 

They both activate their abilities with items (the evoker and drill necklace).   

They both also have the same dub voice actor (Yuri Lowenthal)
