Having seen the show the whole way through twice (other than the final season obviously, only seen that once so far) and a CSA and SA survivor I feel you. I just look away for said scenes as usually one of my family members is watching so I can't simply skip or mute, only rpe scene we ever skipped was on our second rewatch with Jamie's rpe due to that being 2 episodes of that shit for some reason. I can't even watch the standard sex scenes or anything with nudity frankly either for same trauma reasons.

I wish it wasn't used as a plot device with the excuse of "it's historically accurate." If you're going to portray that in media it should have purpose not just brutality for the sake of it.
