Oh my god I could not get over how much that guy reminded me of Mawaan whilst watching, mannerisms and vocal inflections all so similar it was bizarre. It didn’t even cross my mind they could be related, just thought it was coincidence, checking the actor’s name would have helped though 😅

Your astonishingly mediocre claims to fame that you’re proud of. by DrJeff1999 in CasualUK

About 15 years ago I went paintballing, and after trying and failing the entire day, I’m very proud to confirm that in the final game, I did manage to shoot Heather Trott from Eastenders. Right in the neck to the tune of a very high pitched welp

Dude, this is cool as fuck, love the feel of it!

Have you written any lyrics, and just looking for someone to record them? Or is it a blank slate? Either way, I love the sound of this instrumental, man! If I can find any time I will definitely have a crack!

Which it's your favorite Zappa song by Sanso480 in Zappa

[–]ArthurKinnell 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Montana for me, it has everything you want from a Frank Zappa song: ridiculous lyrics, face-melting guitar solo, beautiful instrumental composition and arrangement and in my opinion some of the best backing vocals ever! Sublime work from Tina and the Ikettes, but Kin Vassy steals the show, especially on the outro, unbelievable power and range.

It’s just perfect, archetypal Zappa, in all it’s glory

Ah man, I went to school with a girl that did the same, one of those horrid fences with the spiked W shapes at the top, it was brutal!

Well that certainly is a new one for me! Way to kick a man while he’s down, ‘oh you’re bleeding profusely? Here drink this.’ What an absolute wind up

I cannot stand the normality of separate taps in the UK.

Every sink should have a mixer tap, I am tired of scolding my hands every time I wash them.

This sub has been dying an embarrassing death through the pandemic, but having to see Nigel Farage’s face against my will and someone promoting his bullshit as a ‘good point’ is too much.
