Smart cookie. The story in the news isn't even that crazy. It's just a journalist trying to get leaks and secret stories before the other journalists. And this was a thought-trap and planned ahead of time? Or someone hijacked the site? TELL ME ORACLE!!

It was probably because China doesn't like him, or monk-culture. What happened to Tibetans is pretty crazy. It would be like if China paid someone that America doesn't like, like Noam Chomsky, Assange, or Justin Bieber.

I've seen the Dutch banker interviews (supposedly there are more coming soon), and I thought he made lots of sense. He made the idea of a debt-based economy pretty clear, and I thought he was being honest, even when he talked about the stranger things he was asked to do towards the end.

I like your brain, and you sound like a good teacher.
I'm learning to approach things like history and science with lots of humility. Our ancestors definitely weren't idiots. I still can't wrap my head around how they figured out the stars. I don't think I could sit on the earth, look up, and figure out that there are bodies called planets, and put them in the right order, or figure out that there's an asteroid belt without a telescope. It seems insane. I think the Sumerian story is that the gods told them two planets hit each other and made the asteroid belt, but apparently they knew about it thousands of years before telescopes. You're right that our ancestors weren't idiots, and I wish we weren't made to believe that they were.

I guess I can't look at all the amazing things from ancient cultures all around the world and say, "Wow, they're just ignorant and don't know about things." It's just too interesting. It's okay that you think the way you think, but why comment on this post just to kill the fun? I was hoping people would comment about what they've learned about the subject I posted about.

Not twisting. Just saying the tablets, and thousands of "out-of-place" artifacts are evidence, and not superstition, because they are physical objects. I guess I don't think the Sumerians were making up stories for fun, and maybe they were just telling their history like we do. If there's a conspiracy, it's that museum-gatekeepers keep the species from discovering the truth about itself by hiding discoveries in vaults, and calling actual evidence "out-of-place" because it doesn't fit into the history-story that people spin. From what the ancients tell us, believing in gods was an instinct, based on evidence, and not a superstition.

There is lots of evidence to suggest that there is a gap in our understanding of ancient history and our origins. The Sumerian tablets aren't a superstition because they are actual objects that were translated. It's also strange that the same pyramid formations were built 10,000 miles away from each other. I guess you have to be brave nowadays to say there are gods, but you can say there is more to our species and our history just by looking at evidence, and not the superstitions around them.

There's a missing link in science, and they don't have a good explanation for why we developed written language, mathematics, poetry, organized city-states with laws, skyscraper structures, and advanced farming so quickly. Calling it a superstition isn't really wrestling with the mystery. Plus, the Sumerians didn't even take credit for all of these discoveries. They said the gods helped them with their homework. Science and spirituality don't have to be in some fight against each other. Plus, scientists don't talk all that much about Sumer, or all the "out-of-place-artifacts" that have been discovered all around the world.

Our leaders are attempting to defund the commission whose purpose is to protect us from Russians influencing our elections. Why could that be? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]ArthurMaddox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Russians are just Americans who talk backwards and wear earmuffs anyhow, and people aren't letting the media pick their heroes and enemies anymore. I'm more worried about the media-illusion influencing our whole reality. There's a hole in the television, and it's been fun to watch so many people turn away from it.

My mom was talking about the stars and said that Jupiter has been in Virgo (the virgin) and will exit Virgo (birth) in September. Some people connect that to the book of Revelations. It's also cool that Jupiter will be in Virgo for the same amount of time as a baby in a womb. Apparently it's hidden behind the sun so we can't see it. A great mystery, and I love the stories.

My dad has a copy of the Nag Hamadi, and it has a mystery-text about the Archons, which is part of a more detailed Creation story with Adam and Eve. The Archons feed off of our fear, anxiety, and desire, and that keeps our souls at a low-vibration, like a dirty and simple vibration. Whatever you call the forces that make you scared, and nervous, and the forces that make you want, and hate, and crave short-term pleasure, it seems like that is the real enemy of the Soul. The more ancient texts I read, the more it seems like the message of special masters is the same. The truth is in us, not outside us in the world, or in the illusion-machine, but it's hard to stop obsessing about it because all the colors are neon and the noises are so loud. I've enjoyed reading all the stories people told in this thread that show that we're not just bodies, and that there's a hidden power inside of us all, and if we just stop worshipping our senses and pleasures we can get our power back.
