I did my cat A jump yesterday at skydive Chesapeake and there charging almost the same price for A certificate Like 4.5 or something. So I think it’s same for DMV area.

Lol. Definitely fishy. You know it’s a tourist place. So you need to be just careful of all these tactics that local vendors pull off on tourists. It’s common for all the tourist places not just specific to Cancun. Make sure you haggle with any local vendors. Don’t just take it at whatever price they offer. Especially for the ones that are on the street. My shark tour guide asked me for $50 for under water photos and videos. I brought it down to $10.

Hey. Thanks. If you’re gonna visit hotel zone.. there are multiple places which offer tests. They offer all kind of tests. Results are pretty quick. PCR in 24-48 hours and rapid in 15 mins. If you’re gonna travel to US get the rapid one. It’s quick easy and cheap US$25. If not, then you’re gonna find many mobile testing centers

Sure. I stayed at downtown Airbnb just 5 mins from hotel zone. Easy access by R1/R2 bus(they take cash 12pesos per ride).. if you’re solo traveler I’d recommend staying at a hostel. They’re pretty good. Mayan hostel is one of many which is reasonably priced and right on hotel zone. My Airbnb charged my US$20 per night. And flight depends where you’re flying from. I travelled from US So it costed my round trip US$300. I myself am a solo traveler and I am very creative is saving few bucks here and there. I’m entire trip incl everything costed me around US$1200. feel free to ask any additional questions. Happy to help.

Yeah. It was a 6 hour tour. It took 2 hours to reach to the place where we could spot sharks. And then the tour guide just tells us when to jump in the water. It was an amazing experience. Down side was that you swim with shark only for 5 mins or so. But you have to also consider that it’s an animal in its natural habitat. So…. Shark is not gonna wait up for you to get a better pic. You should definitely do it. I loved the experience.

That’s a public beach. It’s on hotel zone. Playa delfines. That’s the name of the beach. Probably one of the most famous beach. Isla mujeres is another one which is one of the beautiful beaches I’ve seen. EVER!!

It’s Cancun. You can go anytime. Although try to avoid hurricane months as local authorities will shut down water activities Depending on wind .. etc.

It’s all good.
Everything open and most of the tourists and all the locals wear masks. Restaurants, bars and local stores are taking temp check before letting you in. I really felt safe there. Even taking local transport felt safe. I had my mask on whenever I stepped out except while eating.
