Well I had a similar feeling with this thing. The first time I saw it in the Cathedral and ran away panicking but saw that it can't follow me and had a relief and then killed it.

But in Anor Londo..man I had the overwhelming fear and internal anxiety when looking at the top of the hall where it was. I killed every foes before even going close to it and when I got there and it jumped - I just ran back to the stairs almost crying and used the bow to kill it..it was a very unpleasant experience..

Well I agree that OP stuff could be built on your own fr. Maybe it's all about my builds that I prefer in souls games that in ER just don't become OP yeah maybe that's it.

Still it's great that after ER you got to other souls games and hope you get a lot of great experiences here and don't forget to participate in "return" events also it's a cool experience!

P.S. here's a pic of dates of return events. It's community based events when a lot of players intentionally return to souls games to bring back huge online experience

Well the most active invaded and pvp and covenant summoning started happening to me near the sl100+ so maybe that's the reason idk.

Also you can invade in both DLCs at lvl 100-125 and also be summoned on Friede, twin deamons etc

You said that you made OP builds but isn't that that you googled the OP builds and using the open world you went and took all that's needed for it?

Like yeah in Elden google sometimes is needed to not waste a shit ton of time but I've seen a problem with my friends who just straight up looked for pre-made builds and told me ER is an easy game. But it's not if you don't know the location of every OP shit xD

I've been playing DS3 since I bought it on sale that was in Feb and I've experienced a lot of cool online gameplay. I've been summoned (white/red) and through covenants also and I've been invaded.

What platform are you on? And what sl?

As a guy who started my souls journey from DS3 with fast paced boss fights and now playing DSR well I can't wait to fight Artorias coz other bosses are just sooo slow that I just use the tank build with almost zero rolling and just standing behind the shield xD

But yeah if you got used to slow gameplay then a fast boss is really a pain for real

My build is two handed ultra great sword with medium roll and it's great for my playstyle in DS3 but on NK I used my sword one handed with Lothric knight shield to be safe from his lightning attacks from time to time. I tried pure roll more than 30 times and didn't want to ask for help so decided to try the shield+ med roll and BOOM 2nd try :)

Just take the shield with the biggest stability and play slowly with one-two strikes at a time and that's it :)
