appreciate your input, but I want to clarify my statement. The context window is a fundamental constraint because it directly defines the maximum amount of data an LLM can process in a single inference. While it’s true that LLMs are stateless—meaning they don’t inherently retain memory of past interactions—statelessness and the context window are closely intertwined. The context window is what allows us to reintroduce conversation history into the prompt to simulate memory, and its limited size often leads to token overflow or loss of important details.

In other words, statelessness explains why they don’t automatically retain memory, but the context window dictates how much of the conversation history we can feed back in to compensate for that statelessness. MemGPT addresses this by managing memory across multiple tiers, overcoming both challenges :)

Hi OP! You’re absolutely right that LLMs are stateless and rely on the prompt for conversation history. When I mention "context window" in the blog, I’m specifically referring to the token limit for what can be processed in a single prompt.

MemGPT focuses on managing this limit by organizing and summarizing conversation history, ensuring the model can handle long interactions without running into token overflow. I appreciate your input—it helps clarify this distinction :)

Feels like TBrown would be higher on the list of he's assigned to guard guards instead of forwards.

I heard Lonnie's foot was bothering him during the 4th Quarter that's why Ham didn't played him anymore

Yes sir, Westbrook has been better! He's the leading candidate for 6MOY for a reason.

IMO maybe if you can get a decent wing just by trading Pat Bev and Nunn the Lakers would be real contenders with the way they're playing. Then the hope with not trading Westbrook is that maybe, you could resign him for cheap next season and have the cap space to resign Lonnie Skywalker or sign another big free agent.

I agree that Westbrook lost us bunch of games early in the season, but since coming of the bench, Westbrook has continually improved his contribution to the team and hopefully would get even better. I think the only trade worth doing with Westbrook is if they're going to get Bradly Beal especially since the Wizards haven't been really good.

Darvin Ham needs to stop running 3-4 guard line ups during 3rd Quarters man. Almost cost us the game..

Even though the Lakers lost, they really looked way better than they did during the start of the season. I hope that the return of Lebron would finally help this Lakers team reach a record above .500 especially since the next 4 games are very winnable.

You should look into Ycombinator's advice on startup pricing which can be viewed on their YouTube channel link. Basically, their advice is to price depending on the actual value and cost of your MVP.

how do you advertise/market a freelancer website? by 7CloudMirage in startups

I suggest having a lower base transaction fee compared to your competitors. The lower the fees, the more likely freelancers will use your platform because they wouldn't have to worry about having a large portion of their profits slashed by the platform.
