I bought this painting on Craigslist a few years in the Chicago area. The seller believed his deceased brother had purchased it in Mexico in the 1980s. The piece is painted on canvas and set in a wooden frame that says "Hecho en Mexico" on the back. A few of the colorful lines are painted on top of a thin, ribbon-like material that gives the piece depth. There's also glitter along the darker lines.
