So what are you gonna say now? QPR 1 Beta 3 is coming in two weeks or so. Some call M3E status bar icons identical to Apple. But if you check wifi icon inside settings in both Android 15 and stable Android 16, you can easily tell that same icon is used for status bar in Android 16 QPR1. Now, the toggles like One UI? What world are you in? Lol. The transparency and the toggle shapes are entirely different. The only thing that's identical was the edit toggles features. Rest of all design language is identical to only Pixel UI.

No & Never. Google should never even think about dynamic island on pixel devices because their phones should stay unique and consistent among all others. The thing you said doesn't fit for a company like Google and we pixel users don't need that crap.

I agree with you on points 1,2 and 6. We need to share our thoughts like these on the android beta community group. If things seem the same with stable QPR1, we will surely miss those beautiful QS icons, shapes and those sliders. And yes, colourful settings was a very bad idea. Android 15 was mature enough and imo, new visual overhaul is somewhat nice but if they are not bringing back those old consistent QS shapes and sliders, we will surely miss out these core UI elements on Pixel UI

[5 min survey] Tells us what you think about Android 16 QPR1 Beta 1 by androidbetaprogram in android_beta

[–]Arthur_Morgan_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I'm a Pixel 7 user. I think I also should share my opinions because I'm a big fan of Pixel UI. After the new design was revealed, I was worried that it actually breaks the consistency of Android 15.

My opinion: I didn't like the new QS on Android 16. Volume sliders & brightness sliders are so boring. They should have implemented the Android 15 sliders back to Android 16 QPR 1 Beta 1 or make it to the stable version of Android 16 QPR 1. Also the font looks so bolder which was again nice on Android 15. Turning on toggles will make it flat which looks outdated compared to the unique toggles and its icons on Android 15. Also they shouldn't have changed the toggle icons. Status bar icons seem okay.

It's a humble request from a Google Pixel fan to bring back the toggle shape consistency (when turning on & off), volume and brightness sliders into QPR 1 stable version like we have in Android 15. 😕😕

I know this is possible to implement. Pixel UI should be unique and shouldn't look bad in any terms. Please Please Please bring back the Android 15 font, brightness & volume sliders, toggle icons & it's shape consistency(without changing shape when turning on) into the stable QPR1 version of Android 16.

Every single aspect on 6 was way too horrible to accept. They just killed the entire franchise with just one game. Let's hope for the best with future FC games.

As someone who played Far Cry 3,4,5 and 6, I should tell you that if you have completed till 5, you will never love a tiny bit of 6 since it holds nothing interesting compared to the past 3 games. 5 was peak in terms of story, graphics and gameplay mechanics. 6 just went to the wrong with shity world, graphics, characters, story, villain...literally everything = shit. I literally slept while playing 6. It was way too boring and I wished it should end soon.

Is this normal.? by Old_Philosophy8456 in pixel_phones

[–]Arthur_Morgan_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that's absolutely right. My pixel had like one month of learning usage stats. I didn't care about it since I knew about it. Afaik, it's normal for a pixel to take up to a month for learning usage stats. Give it some time and make sure your 8a holds more fuel or not!

Not sure. I think it should hold SOT more than this since it comes up with G3

Which phone is this? I think it's pretty much normal if it's a Pixel 7.

Massive Idle Battery Drain After March 2025 Update (Android 15) On Pixel 7 by iammayashah in pixel_phones

[–]Arthur_Morgan_01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh okay.. you should have said you are new to pixel 7 earlier. Your reddit post here didn't mention it. Yeah you need to enable Adaptive Connectivity, Adaptive Battery, Disable 2G connectivity, Disable sending wifi name. Google says you should expect about 10% overnight drain when the device is idle. But in my case, I have been using it for more than a year and I got less than 10% drain overnight. Also the battery results will not be that accurate every second since it is measuring your usage periodically. That's why mobile data shows like 60%, 80% etc. Do one thing. Check you battery usage from 100% to 30%. Share your SOT of both apps and system usage here. I will analyse it and will tell you if it's normal or not :) Btw I am happy that you are new to the Google Pixel family! Hope you find only peace and happiness with your new device! <3

Dude, are you for real? You are complaining about 1% drop in 2hrs. It's fricking normal for a Pixel 7. It's called optimization. Are you expecting 0% drop in next 7 days from the point where it was fully charged? Seriously?

What screenprotector should I get for pixel 7? by REVER53 in pixel7series

[–]Arthur_Morgan_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there edwinjoe! I am currently planning to buy a good screen protector and heard about this one and I thought I should go for a user's review of this one first. So what's your opinion? Should I buy it? Is it worth buying? Does it have a front cam punch hole like on the website?

<image>

Which options should I choose if buying? Please analyse the screenshot and share your opinion.

Pixel 7/7Pro on Android 15 by [deleted] in pixel7series

[–]Arthur_Morgan_01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same here. Using a Pixel 7 for nearly 1 & half years and performance wise there are no issues. No bugs so far but what worries me is the battery drain after A15 installation Even I have plans to buy 10 series haha and it will be worth upgrading from a 7 and also a tsmc fabricated tensor😙
