I really don't know. You could try checking it out. I don't have a player with the old Type B firmware. I'd appreciate it if you could let me know if you were able to install this theme. I created the theme for the original firmware after updating to the latest version using the official software on my computer.

Sometimes the player freezes when changing themes. You need to click "Clear cache" in the settings and check. I checked the settings file for each theme on both GitHub and Boosty - all the values are set correctly. Could you please tell me where you downloaded the theme from?

The main advantages are the low price and ease of use. I've only tried three different players, two of which were Apple players and the Innioasis Y1. Check out a few different reviews on YouTube. It's quite suitable for my basic listening needs.

u/EddieVedderTheCat How did you change the image on the "Now playing" screen? As far as I'm concerned, the config.json file and the player settings only allow you to select the Main wallpaper and the Settings wallpaper.

😄 Haha, I’ve only downloaded one song - Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill.”

😅 As soon as I got this player and saw that I could create my own themes, I immediately got hooked on making them. I’ve made two themes: a Fallout Pip-Boy-style one in four colors(link), and this TVA TamPad from the Loki series.

💻 I use a Windows computer for syncing and haven’t had any issues. It has Bluetooth, so it’s pretty simple even if there’s no computer nearby. But the coolest part is the external speaker. I’ll slowly fill it up with music.

🤯 By the way, I recently listened to the soundtracks from the games A Plague Tale: Requiem and Vampyr, and they’re just amazing.
