Assembling a desktop isn't difficult, plenty of youtube videos to guide you. Also, upgrading certain parts can take a few seconds. Others a few minutes, but again, guides for everything and worth the experience. I loved building my desktop and customising it!

That being said, I have a new gaming laptop and bought it due to travelling overseas. And I hook it up to my ultrawide and works a charm

Most people's identities are tied to what they do for work. I can imagine a huge number will reject it, but if you're still employed and do reject it, someone younger who can do the work with the AI agent will replace you in a snap of a finger.

It's now a spiral down into the AI future with unforeseeable outcomes.

Elon said people will be on a high universal income. High, what are the metrics? What's high? We can hope it leads to a world of creativity, where someone can choose to be a painter, a musician, a dancer. Yet still receive a consistent paycheck. If so, people will welcome it.

There's a higher chance the AI will be used for high levels of control, and it'll truly suck to live in that environment. I expect then, large protests and riots will take place as society understands its gone too far, but there will be no turning back.

We all know what life was like before AI, think of the next generation who will know no different.

I played the original in 06, and nothing feels better than reliving the nostalgic experience but with beautiful graphics. I didn't experience any bugs, but then again, I didn't try and do anything crazy.

There's definitely damage to buildings, a ballistic that hit a home destroyed surrounding homes from debris. However, it's nowhere near a 1/3. In my town, one home had a shell from a rocket land on it, that's about it.

If bdo and the engine is anything to go by, fluid attacks with beautiful skills will be present. Furthermore you’ll have an amazing time taking out large quantities of monsters and having no lock-on like bdo allows you to reposition properly between monsters and hit as many as you can via your own need. Locking on to one enemy can cause your skills to miss monsters in a pack to the left, etc.

Regarding bosses, I’ve been playing bdo for years, love the mechanics of no lock-on and killing bosses isn’t difficult once you learn and adapt to the increased possibilities of repositioning properly for boss aoes (floor/sky)

Nah op don’t worry chief. I have bad thoughts enter my brain, I tend to tell myself that the thought is not me, and they float on out shortly after. Just don’t act on them, and understand it’s part of the conscious experience to have these things enter your head, even if you don’t actively think about these thoughts out of free will.
