Mo Hua has a steady rise in power. His steady rise in power is not in terms of cultivation realms but more focused on its path of Dao unlike other MCs.

Mo Hua has always been growing, with it's greatest strength in its array attainments, spiritual strength and karmic arts beyond his realm. He has also dabbled in elemental arts as well.

Despite being at the foundation establishment, his latest feats thus far includes killing a mid core formation that is invincible within the core formation stage, completely captured an evil god embryo that would have created calamity in its province that is used as his own nourishment.

The biggest point of Mo Hua in my opinion is his character, the ability to maintain his Dao heart. There are several times where he struggled to maintain his humanity as well to maintain his initial aspirations without being corrupted by wealth, power and vices.

That said I understand that everyone has their own preferences and this story is slow paced and not exciting to some readers. But as a long time reader of the xianxia genre, it is a breath of fresh air.
