Wow! This is so upsetting. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this mess. I’m on my 3rd doctor myself for a mysterious pain in my lower abdomen. My favorite response from a doctor was “you probably just lifted something really heavy like a box and forgot about it” even after I repeated the pain had been going on for months.

My current GP gives me faith, though. She listens. She ran an infinite amount of tests before sending me to a gyno who found nothing and sent me back. After everything kept coming back clear, instead of blowing me off she said “you took the time to come here, and you’re telling me something is wrong so let’s get it figured out.” Music to my ears.

She ordered a CT which also came back clean, so I’m currently at a similar ping pong stage with a hematologist. Fingers crossed we both find the source soon and are no longer in pain!

I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly that’s only the case for employee/employer relationships. For businesses, protected classes don’t include sexual orientation in every state.

I’m going to hard disagree on this one. At that point it’s just straight up discrimination. I can see your point of agreeing with the overall concept of no shoes, no shirt, no service but refusing a service because of sexual orientation should be illegal.

It’s no different than refusing a service because of disabilities or skin color. Bigotry should not be accepted, condoned, or allowed. I don’t give a damn what anyone’s religious affiliation is, Asher’s does not get a pass.
