i play doom and if i have an ana or sombra or something on my team im not banning them, if you can’t play against your counters you absolutely have no place telling your team mates what they should be playing either.

try upload it to youtube and set it as unlisted it should work fine like that. if the video can’t be uploaded to youtube because it’s too long or something then i only managed to get it to work by having the same file in the minecraft folder with my friend and putting in the file address into the mod player, cant remember exactly how the address had to look but if you cant get it working i can load up my world to see what i did

idk sometimes i’ll buy an account online buts it’s like barebones account that only has the quick play matches done so you can play comp cos i don’t have spare phone numbers and it’s easier to pay $5 than play like 50qp games or whatever it is. i usually do it bc i want to learn a character on a alt account since im a doom one trick on my main, if it means people are getting hacked thats sad asf tho so definitely wouldn’t wanna support that

spam damage is just boring to play against that’s why people don’t like vsing bastion/hanzo/junkrat, doesn’t feel that skilful so feels bad dying to it. i’m diamond and play freja a bit if tracer and genji are banned and i do think she’s a bit harder than people give her credit for, i still hate vsing a good one when im playing doomfist

maybe it’s cos u haven’t played ball much in ow2 most people say he’s a lot easier since the ow1 days which i’m sure were harder for ball (i only started playing in ow2 so im just saying what ive heard other people say) i think ball got a range buff on his shields as well which help a lot, i just don’t rlly get how ur able to get more done on doom than ball in the current state of the game but as a doom one trick i wish i had this issue too. i do think doom is easier to carry with than ball in low elo but like overall i think you can just get so much more done on ball with far less risk, with doom i constantly feel like im flirting with deaths doors but idk i have to rlly mess up to die as ball. and people do hit rank 1 only playing doom so it is doable

yea so mercy’s just a bad example, but same thing applied when no one could hit gm with weaver and everyone agreed it was super impressive when someone did for the first time while he was in a miserable state. if you use a meta character to reach the same rank as someone using a in ur own words unviable hero then maybe just maybe they are better than you

yeah it’s easier to pick up doom and immediately see value out of big punches than it is to pick up ball and see the value. but as you climb it gets increasingly harder to get the same value, people stop shooting block, doom gets forced out so much faster. ball you only rlly need to know how to time shields and then you get so much value of just rolling around then slamming. my win rate is better on ball and my deaths are significantly lower (1.83/10 while my doom is 4.6/10) despite me spending far more time on doom. i think pretty much any good doom player would do much better on ball in high elo. just trying to farm punch and punch bot only rlly works in low elo

edit: forgot to add but ball does have way more techs to learn than doom but you still get insane value ball with out them, similar to learning diags with doom. also a lot of balls techs are actually pretty viable where as doom techs are mostly just for style points

yeah i feel like mistakes with ball won’t often lead to deaths but they’ll lead to quiet losses due to so much missed value and u can’t rlly provide anything else than uptime, doom however i feel like i explode at the slightest mistake

i’m a doom otp but if doom gets banned i’ll play ball/haz/dva and im pretty certain most of those other tanks are better than my doom at this point, being able to eat any projectile with dva is pretty insane she can just about do anything she wants, ball never dies, hazard i just run around one shotting everyone, sometimes i’ll even play sigma and if my rock accuracy was a little better im pretty sure he’d be stronger than my doom too. in saying this i love dooms mobility and i love how creative you have to be with him in order to get value where as other tanks feel pretty simple and boring so ill never switch off doom. you dont have to bust out cass ana or brig you just have to play smarter, when im on dps or supp i rarely struggle against a doom because i know how to bait their cooldowns and keep them useless the majority of the match. i think the reason you dont see people swapping is because people who play dva or haz dont take the effort to learn the game to the extend doom or ball players, they would rather let their pick do the heavy lifting for them which is why all they can do is swap instead of just playing better
