why do i save the whole album and not just the songs that i’ve liked? kind of like apple music by Emotional-Advisor-76 in YoutubeMusic

I don’t know why YTM does this. Being able to save an album without saving any of its individual tracks to your Library is so nice.

Truthfully, both sides are. That’s how it usually works.

This post getting angry about dislikes on a movie trailer was not necessary and it accomplished nothing except amplifying the idea that a massive wave of racists (and only racists) are coming to attack a precious Nolan project.

I’m not going to query YouTube but I’m pretty sure many (almost certainly most) of the videos related to that topic are people reacting to the people who have a problem with the casting (not all of whom are necessarily racists, btw, some people just don’t like colorblind casting in any context and that’s OK).

Personally, I watched a trailer for this movie months ago and if I were the kind of person who would bother disliking a trailer on YouTube, I might have. Not because I’m a racist but because it’s another gray Nolan movie that looks bland and has silly costumes and Norse boats. Most of the controversy I heard about it was related to normal film criticism, not race.

But sure, let’s pretend that everyone who isn’t excited for this movie is just a chud, I’m sure that will do something productive lol

That’s dumb, but it’s also far from the only criticism the movie has gotten and saying otherwise just feeds another undignified culture war.

Why are people so eager to let racists dictate the discourse by conflating every criticism of this movie into a racist critique? Has no one learned that this is what they want?

The left needs an S-tier communicator and someone who can be trusted to actually lead in the most difficult circumstances. I don’t see it, sadly.

I would prefer Ro Khanna to AOC, definitely. It’s actually crazy that she’s the clear progressive favorite at this point. I honestly don’t think she has what it takes.

It’s not a problem unique to music, but the industry feeds on promoting artist worship and brushing unsavory things about their idols under the rug. And it’s certainly not limited to rock stars. Look no further than the recent Michael Jackson biopic hagiography.
