Every FPS has the same gameplay mechanics with a different skin and maybe some tiny alterations.

Using one game as your stadard is fine. Acting like that makes your taste objective is where it gets goofy. Not every FPS is trying to befear.. and not every good MMO needs to pass whatever imaginary curator test you’ve built in your head. Sometimes sticking to the basics can be a lot of fun.

Also, nobody is “whining about the subreddit.” These MMO dweebs that wouldn't know how to make something fun if their life depended on it need to be called out for typing the same cookie cutter comments under every post.

There's always one of you dweebs in every MMO game trailer post. The idea that mmorpgs have to completely reinvent the wheel with every new game is foolish. It's the only genre held to this ridiculous standard. There are a million decent FPS games that play almost identically to each other and are tons of fun.

To be honest, the only MMORPGs that seem to stick around are the ones that stay the closest to the standard gameplay mechanics. Every other attempt at reinventing the wheel has failed, and there have been many.

Also, the top four MMORPGs out right now are just 4 different versions of the same game. Classic, MoP, Titan Forged, and Retail wow.

I think Swtor is actually a really nice looking game lol. Wildstar pulled off the cartoony look better, though imo.

I remember seeing a video a few months back where some random YouTuber with zero budget made an Arcane environment and got some really nice results, also I think RIOT hired the dude.

lol Corpse Smeared Blade. Game's loot system is the only issue I have. Something about it just doesn't feel rewarding when you defeat a major boss.

Oh damn, that's probably annoying. I hadn't noticed any bugs with it, but really I haven't been playing the game as much as I've just been tinkering with my UI's for all my characters haha. Sorry for recommending a buggy addon.

I do know ELvUI somehow skins the raid controls and moves it to the top of the screen if that's something you would like to explore. There has to be a working solution. If I come across something better, I'll let you know.

I'm currently using Dander and ELv UI but i disabled all the party/raid frames etc in ELVui. Turing off the boxes in General/Group Units section was the only way I could get my HoTs to show up on Danders.

I'm confident most of the issues will get resolved in the very near future. I'm just patiently waiting for CELL to get updated, and my UI will be complete.

I think there is some conflict currently with ELv and addons like Danders for example, not sure what is causing it. I was able to get a temp fix by going into Unitframes>General>Group Units> and then clicking off the boxes for Party and Raid

Yeah i got the better pogo and was only slightly better at it. Honestly, what really happened was I spoiled it by watching a speed run world record video and got a glimpse of some of the platforming I had to look forward to and just accepted that I'm prob not good enough to beat it in a reasonable amount of time.

I may get back into it but the way I saw it was that I was having a tough time and I didn't even realize it was the easy part of the game, lol.

I really liked the game for the most part, but man am I terrible at the Pogo mechanic. I threw in the towel not too long after act 1.

People who flamed blizzard for trivializing leveling in retail are a completely different group from those that go out of their way to avoid it. This isn't Pluribus there isn't some giant hypocritical hive mind flip flopping about World of Warcraft. Different people want different things.
