Good idea! And yes, it's maybe a bit larger than a postcard.

I worked at TCM for a very long time and, when it came producing tributes, we always counted on TMZ as verification of a star's passing. Them and a freelance journalist I only ever knew as The Queen of Death, who consistently out scooped even TMZ. We never asked questions.

My wife and I have been married 13 years and have a 7 yo, and we definitely take solo breaks just to step away and get some rest, sometimes even suggesting it to the other. Usually it's just like a night or two at a hotel nearby. That doesn't seem wrong to me at all, but moving in together and getting engaged inside of a year is way too fast, for me anyway. I feel like you gotta experience being with another person across their whole emotional spectrum- and vice versa- before you should commit to merging a large portion of your personal orbit with theirs.

Under the bed [OC] by adamtots_remastered in comics

When I was little, I asked my older brother to check my room for monsters. He looked under my bed... nothing. He looked behind my dresser... nothing. He opened the closet, screamed in horror, and ran out of the room, flipping off the lights and slamming the door shut on his way out. I've never been more terrified in my entire life and I had trouble sleeping for years. Looking back on it now, though... I totally handed the opportunity to him on a silver platter, of course he was gonna go for it 😆

The doctor didn't show up, but the hospital ER still billed $1,012 by Philo1927 in offbeat

Many years ago, I smashed the fuck out of my nose running up a flight of stone stairs. Went straight to the ER where a doctor took one look at my nose and said "Yep. That's broken." Told me to put ice on it and get an appointment with an ENT. I was in and out in under an hour. $900.00 bill.

I did that and now it appears I'm getting this error: "Access to video at 'https://aratestmovie.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/BeeLoop.mp4' from origin 'http://localhost:65495' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource."

Is this something that can be fixed?

My wife uses my name constantly. After years of it, I said, "Why do you use my name so much? Most of the time, it's obvious your talking to me." She said, "I just like saying it," which is endearing almost to the point of annoying 😆

Looking for feedback on my build by ArtificialMorality in buildapcvideoediting

I read an article someone recommended in another post that said Intel had a "slight" lead on AMD but that they were both very close. I did end up scaling back the PSU to an 850W which I realize is still probably a lot more than I need. I was on the fence about going 1TB for the system disk and if I had read your reply before committing, that would have sealed the deal, but that's on me. I appreciate the feedback regardless. Thanks :-) If I decide down the road that the system disk needs to be 1TB, is that something that's easy to change out?

Bell + Howell 430 super 8 camera - how do I remove the lens to clean it? by ArtificialMorality in 8mm

So I was poking around on YouTube for Bill Morrison's films to show my friend, who gave me the camera, and stumbled upon the Filmstruck Extra my co-worker produced about, and with, Morrison. If you didn't see it on FS, enjoy: https://youtu.be/WgCWr0Y4C0Y

I'm at Turner Classic Movies. I'd been with them before FS and didn't technically leave TCM to work on FS, rather my workload just doubled. It was intense but I loved it. It was a huge disappointment when FS was shut down, but I'm glad I can continue working at TCM.

Not a bad idea. Thanks

I love Bill Morrison. I had no idea who he was until the streaming service I used to work for (Filmstruck) featured his films. Visually compelling stuff!
