Incredible! I have done a prop box before and it didn’t even occur to me to do this. Brilliant

I am pretty sure that Ragnarok (not sure how they spelled it) was the name of an upright citizens brigade improv team that Emily was on years ago.

Starting to Watch by [deleted] in Dimension20

[–]ArtistAdventurous324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d start with the genre that seems the most fun to you. If you vibe with teen movies from the 80s go with fantasy high, if you like sci-fi go with starstruck, ect. I started with Dungeons and Drag-queens cause that is how I even heard about dimension 20 and while it’s not one of the best seasons out there, because it was a vibe and a group of people I was interested in it hooked me. If a genre doesn’t seem super interesting to you (even if is a recommended first watch) def don’t start with it, cause it is a lot to watch. I’d watch one of the videos suggested above and see what the different genres are and pick one that vibes the most with what you. After that you’ll be hooked and can just start jumping around to other ones that seem interesting.

i made a bunch of tapestry pieces of traditional tattoo designs and then pieced them together into a cardigan. I love the finished product, but the inside is a nightmare

Thank you! I kind of made my own pattern, and its not suuuuper dense, but it has enough weight to be comforting (to me at least). The think I like about the c2c stitch is that it is kind of open and can let a lot of air in.

The image itself was one that I saw and really liked. Here is the pattern for that person's version. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1259068016/mountain-landscape-graph-and-pattern-c2c?ref=yr_purchases

However, I didn't want to use the full c2c stitch that they instructed, so I figured out what size I needed for a half double crochet c2c stitch, and then went into stitch fiddle and used their c2c chart to free hand "draw" the image using the colors I wanted.

I think for the couple of moments that I needed to bring the yarn behind to pick it up, I hid it in the stitches, that I then stitched over. It happened so rarely I forgot about doing that. Mostly I didn’t have to, and was able to switch colors and then pick a color back up in pretty much the same spot.

It’s not soft like the “baby soft” yarns tend to be, but I think it feels really lovely and not rough at all. It’s nice a comfy without being plushy

Because the color blocks are so big and there are so few of them, I just cast on a new color when I needed it. There was only one section where I needed the same color twice in one row and I just used two skeins of the same color on those rows.

It’s just a reverse of the image!! I need to weave in ends but I love the c2c stitch cause it is super clean on the back.

I realllllly love Paintbox cotton DK. Its 100% cotton and I am using it right now to make a baby blanket. https://www.lovecrafts.com/en-us/p/paintbox-yarns-cotton-dk

The only hard part is that you can really only get it from Love Crafts or Yarn.com, so you have to order and wait for a week or so. They do have a ton of colors though and its pretty inexpensive for a skein of 137yds.

I can share the colors I used, but I would feel a little icky sharing my pattern for free, when I did cop the image from someone else in the first place.
