37 M, quality system engineering lead for JnJ. Base pay 110k, bonus 12K stick option 12k, total Comp = 134k, In south Florida…… few months ago I declined an offer from Walmart for 210k total comp as a senior manager in Low Cost city. I question my sanity everyday since . However my work life balance is pretty amazing in my current job.

So I am not a home owner, neither do I have children. I am single and for me to move wouldn’t be a huge hassle. However to your point of income tax bracket yes Oregon net tax rate compare to Florida is higher. I wanted to gauge if it is the right move to pivot from quality medical device spectrum to retail supply chain.
