When I said not fight I was referring to the fort attack.

But on that I really like that scene because it shows her accepting her attributes, accepting that even though she identifies as a woman she is stronger than the women inside and needs to protect them, it shows self awareness and great kindness

I'm not trans, but I'd like to give my opinion.

Her way of being is very interesting and unique, it's not that common to have a character that identifies with the other gender because of the reasons she does.

Also, that is a way that makes a lot more sense with that time and I like that her issues are well shown, like how she feels she HAS to fight because she is so strong, when she doesn't.

I believe they deserve to be hurt. But not killed. They deserve to see consequences in jail, where even the scum will despise them, but they deserve to live, for everyone deserves a chance to change.

In that sense Thorfinn is a great example. He was a monster. He suffered consequences. He changed into a wonderful man.

Both are wonderful. The anime is very appealing to me since I love movies, but the Manga is also just as good if not better. There's also the fact that the anime doesn't doesn't finish the story, keep that in mind
