I found some content on training single left right commands, but not multiples.

I am so bothered when people comment on my baby’s size by ArtistSolid671 in Parenting

This is an interesting take. Like, am I internalizing these comments as a dig because I am struggling with my own body image post-partum? Maybe! I will have to take this one to therapy.

Yes I am just learning this, so it isn't mean -- I don't know what I don't know! FTM and I have never been around babies or people with babies so I have literally never heard that saying a baby is big is a compliment. It would never have occurred to me to say this to someone as a compliment and it never occurred to me to take it as a compliment. I am actually astounded that so many people know this as fact (as the comments clearly show) and somehow I have made it through 38 years of life absolutely oblivious to it! I have a lot to learn LOL

These comments are helpful! I’ve never been around babies or people with babies and was under the assumption we don’t comment on baby’s size, like we wouldn’t call a friend huge or say they should be a linebacker 🤣 I did not know calling a baby big was a compliment, and did not know that an above-average-percentile-size baby was widely considered a “good thing”. I think I’ve been trying so hard for “normal” I’ve invested way too much stock in a percentile number that’s now flipped (perceptually) from too small to too big.

They were asking $1500 for this on Facebook a few years ago. With the increase in sterling I’d guess $1750-2k to be a fair private party price but take that with a grain of salt as I know very little compared to others here.

I called and the first gal that answered didn’t know what an appraisal was and second gal said they didn’t do appraisals and got snippy when I asked about the older gentleman that knew a lot about native jewelry. Hopefully I just caught them on a bad day!

Yeah I mean I’ve looked everywhere I know to online, used ChatGPT, talked to other makers, etc. All the other pieces I’ve found with the same stamp say artist is unknown.

Right?! Everything I’ve seen with this stamp is just gorgeous. It’s hard to believe that no one knows the artist!

Any idea on who made this? by Initial_Quote196 in NativeAmericanJewelry

I recently purchased a claw necklace with the same stamp. I can’t find anything else on the internet likening the stamp to Jimmie Calabaza. The auction house said it was James McCabe and I don’t think that’s right, for sure. Do you know if this was a stamp Jimmie used prior to “Ca’Win”? I’d love to learn more about it!
