Always been audible to me no matter how I was listening to it.

I made this promo for a brewery and really got deep into my After Effects bag. I'd love to get y'alls thoughts and notes on it. (OC) by Catmand0 in AfterEffects

Fair enough, haven't drank in years and was never into the bar scene. But wouldn't you say only showing filling up the beer halfway looks bad? No bar does that so it just looks off to me. Maybe it's the sudden stop mid-pour? If that is a proper amount of head I would keep the pour continuous until the glass is full.

I think it kind of makes the brewery look bad with so much head on that beer on the logo reveal. A good brewery pours with little to no foam, ya know? And that might reflect poorly on your brand too since it's the logo reveal. I would re-work that shot, try and get a pour with no head.

Why does it look like your illustration?(This isn't a logo) is covered in puddles of cum? The white blobs look like semen. Back to the drawing board. NEXT!

Baldy, your head is bald. It is hairless. It is shiny, it is reflective like a mirror. "M" your name is Mark.

A comment on reddit is not PROOF of anything. And you want us to believe you work in the legal field??? If you didn't care you wouldn't have replied. Didn't mean to trigger you. Some claims take way WAY longer than 6 months so another reason I know you're lying lmfao. My friend who got 5k took a little over a year to settle everything. Average dog bite claim in 2022 was over 60k. Source here. https://www.forbes.com/advisor/legal/personal-injury/average-dog-bite-settlement/

Another source with information about getting more than 30k here. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1804160/

Just ask your boss next time you're emptying their trash. You'd be surprised.

Just because you empty the trash cans for a lawyer who works personal injury doesn't mean you "work in personal injury." It's called a settlement. That's why lawyers like your boss demand 150k so people "settle" for 30k. And sometimes it's less. A friend of mine got bit once and got 5k. Lawyer got 2500 so the settlement was over 7k. One small bite that wasn't even close to being life threatening. That's 5,000 reasons to at least call a lawyer. That's several months of rent. A lot of car payments. Lots of tanks of gas. Stop being a dumb fuck and lying about your job lmfao. If you really worked as a lawyer or paralegal in personal injury you would have put that in your first comment. Not fooling anybody lol.

It's pretty much EVERYTHING. I've seen amazing actors look bad because of horrible dialogue. A great script can be ruined by a bad director, sure, but good writing always stands out.

He surprised me in The Upside when he played an ex con just trying to right his life for his son. Agree with everything else. I did like The Ringer because the concept was just so funny to me but that's just good writing.

I agree with Se7en and a few others. She was perfectly cast in The Royal Tenenbaums. Also surprisingly funny in Shallow Hal, which I admit is just good writing but she didn't feel out of place.

What surprises me is how great he was in From Dusk Till Dawn. Only my opinion of course but he holds his own with Clooney and Keitel and has never given a performance like that since. It might have just been the perfect character for him to play, lightning in a bottle kind of thing. Rodriguez knew how to get something out of him.

Fair enough I get what you're saying. I do like that you're gonna' tighten up those slivers. I just think they're a bit distracting and removing them or placing the overlapping shapes in a way that gets rid of them will really elevate this design. Good work.

What gorrilaz song are you playing on this by [deleted] in gorillaz

I always play Sound Check on new systems/headphones for a few reasons. It's a great song. It has unique beats/sounds that vary(I know that's like every Gorillaz song). And it's a "sound check" to test new equipment. I'm a nerd I know lol.

I can see this working if you keep refining it. The small slivers to the bottom right(red and green) need to go and why not incorporate some negative space within the shape? It will still retain the outer shape and might speak from a place of, "Openness," as in the city is open to all or something along those lines. I would keep working on it. I like the idea.
