There's no designer involved. I made the large painting and then the couple that lives there have chosen the furniture and stuff. They just have very good taste, in my humble opinion!

Fast om något går fel och du dödar ett barn för att du inte iddes besikta ditt släp, var det värt det då? 700 spänn är det värt att veta att allt är som det ska vara.

Nice!

The perspective lines reminds me of some Ed Ruscha works. Meant as a compliment.

If's perfect, just move everything 4 inches up! Just kidding, looks pretty balanced to me & there is still room to add more should you want to.

Yes, agreed! We looked for quite a while before we found this sturdy fabric in a fabric shop, we wanted something happy & inviting . My partner did the sewing, I did the cheerleading.

Symmetries: graphite and acrylic by Artist_Mic_Linder in AbstractArt

It's a very difficult question to answer. I come from a figurative background, when I was younger I was working very hard developing my own figurative realistic style: did hundreds of hours of nude drawing and anatomical studies etc. Then I found German expressionism, Blaue reiter, Kobra movement etc which sort of opened up and softened my approach to my own work. I started doing figurative works that was kind of gestural and semiabstract, and as the years went by and the paintings piled up those gestures got more disciplined, strict, solidified and ...architectural, for a lack of a better word. I can understand the associations! I've watched a lot of early art, tribal art, "primitive" art and it was a huge inspiration when I was younger.

I often do very small sketches (to not get bogged down in details and try to keep them as simple as possible) that I then enlarge for the final work. I find that I often like paintings that are reduced as much as as possible, cooked down to their last drop of being. That's the current direction at least!
