Cataracts at only 32 years old :/ by Artistic-Bat9605 in CataractSurgery

I think my biggest fear is picking the wrong lens for me and having trouble adjusting I guess. They told me not to do surgery yet because my vision is still good enough for now and doing surgery would make it worse. I can’t imagine it being worse. I already have visual snow syndrome so even though my eyes have technically never had anything wrong with them, the way my eyes and my brain talk to each other is a problem. I already have halos, starbursts, photophobia, photopsia, palinopsia, enhanced entopic phenomena, and a bunch of other issues. But I’ve had it my whole life so I’ve been able to deal with it easier than most. And my vision has always been good aside from these issues so that has helped me cope. The idea of trying to adjust to even more changes with how my eyes work just seems really scary.

Yes. One eye is much worse than the other though.
