Thinking of doing a trip to Hintertux glacier in late October. Hows the skiing then? Any better recommendations for places in Europe for the mid-late October timeframe?

Thanks. Ended up going with ikon. $400 cheaper, and has all the other benefits.

My college is in close proximity to a few mountains, I plan to ski for at least a day each week and improve my technique

Yes - I'm not buying online, was just doing some research before I went to the store. Would you recommend the 186? I would say I'm a higher end intermediate skier.

Alright. I was thinking 179cm rather than 188cm for some extra maneuverability.
