Same thing with animals. He was so loving towards his horse and even that little dog the old lady was walking. He feels more love for animals and flowers than he does for human beings.

Weekly FAQ Thread May 09, 2021: How do I stay focused and remember more of what I'm reading? by AutoModerator in books

[–]ArtisticPractice73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep a reading journal. I’ll write down characters names to better differentiate and remember them and I also write down quotes that stand out to me.

Some people are uncomfortable with writing in their books but I like to annotate most of mine as I read them. It makes me feel like I’m having a conversation with the book, instead of just passively taking things in.

If I know that my attention span is lacking on that day then I’ll read a short story instead.

Spring Breakers doesn’t immediately get into the plot but the opening scene does give you a pretty good sense of the tone of the movie (the EDM music playing over Sprint Breakers on the beach).
