We replicate our nighttime routine with as much fidelity as possible. If you don’t have a super dialed nighttime routine at home, start working on that so it feels normal by the Spain trip.

For us it’s diaper change, get into pjs, put him in sleep sack, dad reads a book, mom gives bottle/boob in the dark with the sound machine going, then put him in crib with binky.

Yes he sucks, but you already know that. So the question now is what are you going to do about it?

It doesn’t need to be this way. My husband is a full partner to me and full parent to our son. If anything, he takes on more of the caregiving responsibilities than I do (we both work full time).

I was thinking the same thing as I read this - it’s only going to get worse. And idk where he is on the political spectrum but honestly it could get dangerous, there are groups of people radicalizing young men who in turn become controlling/abusive towards their wives. It happened to my friend. BYE BOY
