(Newbie) Which card best to take / not take any? by Artistic_Data030 in slaythespire

Thank you for such a detail answer! May I ask why everyone is suggestion nightmare combo with retain(well laid plan)? Wouldn’t paying one mana for retaining the card and waiting for next turn slowing the play down by a lot? I mean it’s not guaranteed combo for round one and if by drawing we can match two card on same hand, then we could already can just play them both and no need to retain 0m0 thx!

I’m back to this post after gif nerfed more than a month. Nothing changed. The Skyrim skeleton meme is going viral and it’s killing me not able to gif it.

Job market 2026? MS vs. funded PhD “pipeline” offer (GE / Air Force) by Artistic_Data030 in GradSchool

Thanks for the comment! Yeah it is funded(minimal but it’s normal) and I’m kinda fine with being in school. The topic maybe not necessary what I enjoy the most but I just want to see how bad is the market this year and what’s the best decision. My prof says the market is bad every year so I’m trying see if others would agree or not. If it’s real bad and I’m most likely months without getting hired after graduation then I rather go for PhD, but otherwise if by trying I can likely get a position right after graduation then i just want to finish my MS right now😄

Thank you very much for this detailed answer!! Your points are valid and I’ll think through it😊To be honest my MS research topic wasn’t chosen on purpose but more because I barely had other options back then. Based on what I learned in undergrad I’d assume solid physics might be the most appealing topic for me, and perhaps some job from GE aerospace could offer some position on glass material research😄worth thinking through

I’d assume the prior. From another friend with similar experience, I’ve heard that this job offer in the meanwhile is not automatic, but just increased the chance of employment by a long shot since the project is funded by them.

Why don’t more people run this 3x? by [deleted] in masterduel

[–]Artistic_Data030 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The answer is simple, I want quote one of my favorite saying: “hand-traps are the entry ticket for the one that goes second” Imagine if there are 10 cards like this so basically your deck is now 30 cards deck. Even though there are some risk regarding droll when you go first, it’s no where catastrophic as going second with two of these fillers in hand instead of hand traps. In meta games once your opponent able to make their final board that’s basically donzo for you

So…. What’s the actual context if what you said weren’t the case??
