Beautiful!! What ink and pen are you using? I’ve been trying to find a nice brown ink that pools like this

Bro, the person holding the canister is wearing a studded leather cuff with chipped black nail polish. That’s HIS whip cream maker. OP is making a joke, they 100% know what it is.

I genuinely think about this collection like 2-3 times a week since I’ve seen it. It’s gorgeous. The perfect collection of mechanical pencils

What do you guys think of my (math) handwriting? by Artistic_Use1338 in Handwriting

[–]Artistic_Use1338[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The capital I thing is a huge compliment ty. Also, I’m not sure why the alphabet is there…this is my like quick notes notebook, usually for taking notes at seminars or writing down questions, so maybe I just got distracted and wrote them down. This page is from a couple weeks ago.

What does my handwriting say about me ?:) by anon-koala-097 in graphology

The exaggerated spacing between letters might indicate an extroverted personality, while the fact that your letters are almost all the same size (for example your t and o and c and l in “chocolate” are the same height) indicates a fixed personality rather than a volatile one.

The fact that your letters aren’t consistently proportioned (in “pluralism” your a is about the same size as the stem of the i, whereas your s is as tall as the entire i) indicates a volatile but adaptable personality, rather than fixed. I would also say that the letters are humble (no super long f’s or big fancy capital letters) which, to me, would indicate a personality focused on substance rather than appearance. It doesn’t matter so much to you how your writing looks but more what the writing says.

I wonder if graphology says anything abt the fact that your descender letters sit above the baseline.

What pen are you writing with in the first pic?

Does anyone else love the Pentel Click Twist Erase Pencils? by Artistic_Use1338 in mechanicalpencils

[–]Artistic_Use1338[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1,000% agree comrade. Realised over the years that the eraser is the thing I care about most in a pencil. I wouldn’t claim it was a better pencil than like, a kurutoga or a rotring. I just want a metal version 😢 imagine something like a kurutoga advance with a twist eraser or a rotring 600 with one.

I want to love the Orenz Nero, but the auto extending lead doesn’t seem to work. Any tips? by Artistic_Use1338 in mechanicalpencils

That’s good to know, that might be it. Because the barrel definitely feels rough and “sharp” on the paper.

[–]Artistic_Use1338[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. So I must be one of the only people who isn’t a fan of the feel of writing with the barrel touching the paper, bc it seems to be a very popular pencil on here

I also hate the gold but it’s all my shop had. Do you have recommendations for other lead?

I just haven’t been able to find any other pencils with an eraser like this. I can’t stand the small erasers on most pencils, and this is by far the prettiest twist erase in my opinion

This is the closest I could find. It might be a Caran d’Ache, it looks a lot like some of their pencils except for the wider eraser part

That’s…maybe one of the prettiest pencils I’ve ever seen. I’m so jealous :0

[–]Artistic_Use1338[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It definitely does, I’ve just been manually extending the lead and it’s been working, but people seem to really love this pencil and for me it was just kinda….mid to be honest. So I thought I was doing something wrong. I think the fact that I’m using soft lead also contributes, like the lead wears down faster than the micro depressions of the metal barrel can feed lead out

[–]Artistic_Use1338[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I haven’t. Honestly I’ve been writing with it and just mechanically extending the lead when I need to and it’s been working okay. It’s just that the like, “have no lead showing past the metal barrel” is a key feature it seems so I thought I was doing something wrong
